I really don’t understand how they can sleep so much.

I always say my guy is 80% nap
because they babies
I like to think they are secretly watching over you and your home while you sleep. They are always sleeping when you are awake, because now it’s your turn to protect them.
I love this! My boy is very vigilant at night for sure.
My 15-year-old died in June but for about 8 years of his life my husband worked at night. My pit loved, loved, loved being in bed with me. However, when my husband started working nights he would stay in the living room which is at the front of the house, and maybe he lightly slept or dozed because he would sit himself comfortably on the sofa even after my son and I turned in to go to sleep. He wouldn't come to the back of the house where the bedrooms are until my husband returned home from work.
It’s tiring to be so cute all the time!
It’s a lot of work being that cute, they need their beauty sleep
Same here. So much napping my little boo face baby does every day.
Um, I can. Maybe I'm part pit. 😄💕
Same. I'm usually on the couch with them curled up in the bend of my legs... both of us snoozing lol
*edit for missed word
Get them out and let them run, though. They need that high energy every day.
I always feel guilty when I can’t make time to play and can only take him out to walk. I make up for it by taking him to the park on weekday nights and weekends to burn through his energy to the point that he sleeps the rest of the night
mine is three and a half and we still aren't quite there yet.
little ball of pure energy.
It'll come
Mine just turned 3 and hrs just always been a slug with brief Burts of energy
Wouldn’t you?
My spirit animal, really ❤️
It’s exhausting being adorable!! DUH! 🤣💜
Yup, the thing pitbulls attack more than anything???
THE SOFA.
Our couch has an indentation marking his favorite spot.
They're gifted
Fun fact: Dogs apparently need more sleep than humans, approximately 12-14 hours per day.
Even more than that, for some! I’d say my dog is more like 18-20. She has one solid walk a day, potty breaks, mental stimulation and she’s good. And in the past 2 months her walks have been restricted (TPLO surgery) and even then she’s been chill. Happy to play some gentle laying down tug and hang out, and of course, sleep.
Bored?
My girl sleeps 90% of the day lol
So you think it’s easy being so adorable all the time?!?!
Boredom.
Chasing squirrels and protecting against the vacuum cleaner is exhausting work.
My dude chases flies and is scared of my roomba but still sleeps like he works 12 hour days
Lol mine does as well. Love these lazy potatoes
