Will my Nextiva landline work abroad?
Hello guys, first time posting here. I work remotely in the East Coast (US). My current work setup is an iMac and a Nextiva office phone (VoIP). I am going to live in Portugal for 3 months next year to be with my SO. My work doesn't know I'm doing this and I plan on keeping it that way. I got myself a macbook pro and plan on taking that along with my Nextiva phone to Portugal. I also plan on using a VPN to spoof my location so my boss can't track me via my gmail.
My question is...will I have to also spoof my Nextiva? If I plug my Nextiva to a Portuguese router/modem via an ethernet cable, will I have to spoof it as well? Will it even work abroad? Or is there like a way to get wifi for my Nextiva via my macbook?
My company is US-based only and so I'm not sure if our current company plan with Nextiva will support it being over there. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Yes, it will work in Europe. I use Nextiva for my work line. No you won't have to spoof your phone, maybe, if you have a mad scientist for a boss and they want to track the satellites for fun...but, aside from that.
When you're calling from your Nextiva number in a different country the receiver will only see your registered number. Plus there are not distinctively different ringtones when someone is calling you, and waiting for you to answer.
