I'm a US national currently living in the States getting married to a Portuguese national who resides in Portugal this year. We will marry in Portugal and everything is set for that. I plan on moving to Portugal with the intent on using Article 15 as a means to stay legally until I become eligible for citizenship after 3 years of marriage. My question is, do I enter Portugal as a tourist (visa-free) or is there a specific visa I should be applying for given my goal? =
I researched about the application process for Article 15 and it states an eligible applicant may apply within 30 days after three months have elapsed since entry into national territory.

However...if I enter as a tourist,

My experience with VPNs are very basic so please bear with me!

I'm staying in Europe for 3 months next year and plant to work from there. I have a US-based remote job, working for a very small recruiting firm and I will not be informing my employer of my plans. Before anyone says that I should just tell my CEO, I'm not going to. There's nothing in my work policy that goes against this. I did get my manager's blessing as long as I can mask my location. If I can't find a way, I won't go. I won't put them in jeopardy like that.

My plan is to stay for 3 months and so it will not be considered permanently moving there; tax-wise, I should be good. I'm not staying in my own residence and wil

Hello guys, first time posting here. I work remotely in the East Coast (US). My current work setup is an iMac and a Nextiva office phone (VoIP). I am going to live in Portugal for 3 months next year to be with my SO. My work doesn't know I'm doing this and I plan on keeping it that way. I got myself a macbook pro and plan on taking that along with my Nextiva phone to Portugal. I also plan on using a VPN to spoof my location so my boss can't track me via my gmail.

My question is...will I have to also spoof my Nextiva? If I plug my Nextiva to a Portuguese router/modem via an ethernet cable, will I have to spoof it as well? Will it even work abroad? Or is there like a way to get wifi for my N

I'm fortunate enough that I don't really use my EF as I work in a very stable job in healthcare. With that being said, I'm looking into alternatives as to how I can make my EF grow for me. The thought of inflation slowly eating my money isn't something I'm down with. That's when I stumbled upon QYLD and learned how its distributions are actually return of capital (ROC) and lowers the cost basis and is only taxed after that basis goes beyond zero. It made me think: assuming I'm willing to take all the risks of investing the majority of my EF, not all - Can't I just use a small group of ROC-type distributing investments like QYLD as an EF and sell/rebuy if the cost basis is nearing zero to res

I'm trying to surprise my significant other who lives in Porto by having flowers delivered to her but I unfortunately am not conversationally proficient enough in Portuguese to order. I've called several local flower shops around town and I'm having a hard time finding one that can communicate with me in English. I was hoping someone here could help me and point me in the right direction!

Thank you in advance!

Steadyhand/Hitmark HCR/Light mag Overflow Rangefinder Reload MW

Might be the closest one to a god roll I'll probably get no? I'm thinking that maybe opening shot in place of overflow + a range MW would be better but I think this is keep-worthy. Thoughts?

Have you guys ever heard of an agency allowing 1099 "contractors" work as opposed to W2s?

I'm exploring the idea of how realistic it would be for a travel nurse to set up an LLC and have the travel agency pay that traveler through their LLC. What are the tax implications of that? Would the tax-free stipends work the same way? Would your tax home be based off of where the LLC is based at? Do any agency even work with 1099 people?

I'm about to call Travel Tax to ask these questions but was wanting to know your guys' thoughts on this beforehand.

I was casually having a conversation with an acquaintance of mine and we got into the topic of student loans. I was telling him my repayment strategy when he said he got his wiped. He went on telling me about how "there's a loophole" and that an old classmate of his that "works for the government" helps people with this kind of stuff as a side hustle.

He said he charged him $2000 with a promise that he can wipe out his SLs from all 3 of the major credit bureaus by claiming that they are fraudulent. He went on to explain that since these private servicing companies like Navient, Sallie Mae, FedLoans, "bought" your loans from the government...that you're not entitled to pay them at all. His

Maybe it's too good to be true but I'll try anyways: Does anyone here know of any sales or non-sales positions that can be done remotely in the medical device industry?

I'm currently a Cardiovascular Surgery RN with several years of experience hoping to leverage my expertise in eventually finding a career path to remote work (preferably able to be truly done from anywhere in the world). But I'm also very interested in medical devices. I know some existing remote work for nurses include writing, blogging, working for insurance companies, and travel nursing (which I'm doing currently) but none of these interest me in the long-term. I've considered going the Clinical Specialist route and perha

Degree Question

I followed rule 3

Hello guys, first time posting here. I'm a US citizen and my SO is a Portuguese national and she's looking to go to a University in Portugal to get her degree in Communication Design, a 4-year degree. She's currently an illustrator (self-taught) for an independent gallery in her country and has a decent illustration portfolio. We are in a long-distance relationship and our plan is to eventually bridge the gap and live together (somewhere). My question is: Does anyone know if this degree is transferrable to the US or even internationally should we decide on a different English-speaking country?

We haven't settled on the "where" when it comes to settling down but I'm curious to know if she ca
