The Lucky Guy

NSFWPoem

She’ll be meeting someone.
Her relaxed and wholesome pose whispers this fact.
I’ll never know what he looks like.
His annoying traits,
the music he hums in the shower,
or whom he quietly hates.

Though I do know,
in a couple of hours,
life will give him the pleasure,
the honour,
of unzipping those ankle-high boots.

He’ll stroke those chalky cheeks,
run his hand through her shiny hair.
You can also see
from her calm indifference to us all
that she’ll make love serenely.
He’ll feel the sweetness and devotion,
all along his cock.

I’m tired, you know.
We had the delay,
the beep beep beep of the boarding passes scanned
and the waiting.
I don’t want to embarrass you
by pointing out your beauty,
suggesting this or that,
especially not that.
Though I hope you can allow me
to offer a little smile that says,
he’s a lucky guy, you know.

Hahahahhaa. I think this is a brilliant lively little snapshot! It leaves just enough to my imagination for it to run wild. And it is! Thanks for that!!

this is interesting! it's actually kinda comedic in my opinion, especially at the end. the visualization of it all drew me in.

i liked how you said, "I'm tired, you know." because it shows the true emotion in the piece. there's also a lot of questions to be asked about it all -- like who, what, when, and where. i really loved the ambiguity of this!

i genuinely enjoyed reading this and i kinda wanna go back and discover what else this piece has to offer lol. thanks for sharing!

Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our feedback guide, or look through the comment sections of any other post here, or click the links to the author's feedback above. If you're not sure whether your comments are feedback, or you have any other questions, please send us a modmail.
