Get ready to spend atleast 2 hours In pitioss.
Only two? I spent an entire night in there (several hours wasted from getting to the big statue and not knowing where to jump off without landing in an invisible death pit).
As a masochist, loved it though. Practically like a bizarre extra game some mad programmer threw in there.
Omg that’s where I got stuck and had to look up a guide lmao. I went up the right arm of the statue and fell, so then I try the legs and fall. Then im like ok f this I did this whole thing blind im not going to keep jumping to this statue just to fall and looked up a guide for the rest of it lol.
Ha, you were smarter than I was! I don't know why I refused to look up a guide, so I just died there over and over until I finally figured out where to go. I really don't know how many hours I spent getting to the statue over and over, and I'm not sure I want to know!
They definitely should've signposted that part better but Pitioss is such an insane bonus level that seems built for a completely different game, that I can forgive some of it feeling janky and unpolished.
Yep, that was surprisingly the only part that wasn’t clear on where to go. Besides that I loved the dungeon and it’s design it was pretty fun.
yup, spent 1 year doing it without guides because each time i tried to beat it i would get frustrated and wait 3 months for the next attempt haha. but you know, i really enjoyed it,the design there was amazing plus you get some lore so yeah:))
Hahahahahaha
2 hours they said.
2…..hours.
Try 10.
I managed it in about an hour. Must have gotten Lucky with my jumping. SNES Mario for the win
Get ready to spend 50-70 minutes in Pitioss.
I spent the whole day and only one Google search 😂
Yeah, I struggled a lot with Costlemark too. For as cheerful and bright a game as XV can be out in the overworld, the dungeons can be brutal.
Wait until you get to the menace dungeon of this place
Oh yeah.. this dungeon.. I hate this one the most.
[deleted]
It is but it is really satisfying when you are done
Still haven't beaten it. Spent 2 hours in it the other day only to glitch through the floor and end up back on the surface lol. Might have been something to do with trying to switch characters inside but idk.
Wait you for real ? I do this dungeon when I just wanna have some fun once in a while and I stopped my level at 31 lol
I spent three hours in the Costlemark Tower because I'm an idiot. Never again.
Is this the one where you use the flying car to get into a certain part of the map and you leave your boys out front because your the only one who can fit lol? That one sucked so much. But i enjoyed it because my character couldnt get damaged{Armored suit}
Are you referring to the Pitioss Dungeon where there are no enemies at all? Also I’m not sure about the reason your bros will leave the party. I don’t think it’s because they can’t fit because they will leave the party before going in the dungeon.
Yes thats the one. I think its dark when you go there
Neither was that bad
I hate it!
"Annoying" is being generous.
Correct. Even in 4K.
Okay I'm not trying to brag I ain't trying to turn nobody down I just want to understand how it's a struggle. The first time I turned the game on I wouldn't decress home and realized I could use the Magitek, so I farmed in there for three real life days just to build up some EXP because I didn't know how difficult the game was going to be, reached level 35 upon getting to that mandatory hotel at the end of chapter 1, and then I in chapter 3 I went into castlemark like maybe the second day I could free roam chapter 3 when I realized how big it was I was like oh let me make sure I have the full 30 minutes of invincibility and managed to beat it like I said at level 35. It's more of a matter of what level you are (how willing to grind you are), how you equip the bros, how you run your attacks, what weapons you're running, and how well you've used your Ascension nodes. Pitioss is a MASSIVE test of patience. Struggled with Pitioss and Chapter 13 longer than the rest of the game previous. I do the Menace Dungeons after Pitioss, after Randolph Weapons.
I hate this dungeon….buuuut id still take it over that damn pitiouss ruins one.
Me who got trapped in Pitioss for 3 days: First time?
Is that one which is multi floored with scary monsters everywhere, that place was a pit of hell.
Out of all the "normal" dungeon, crestholm channels is definitely the most annoying to me. One false move can send you falling to the bottom of the dungeon.....
...actually, nevermind. Costlemark Tower it is because of that annoying moving wall/floor puzzle at the end.
Pitioss gets the nod for overall annoying dungeon though. So many hours dumped into that place. And it wasn't because I got lost, but simple things such as platform jumping.
My ps4 was on standby for a week while i tried to get the motivation to complete this dungeon so i could finally save my progress 😂 those iron giant demons were so painfully slow to kill.
No dungeon is more annoying than Crestholm Channels
Pitioss has entered the chat.
Pitioss Ruins made me stop playing the damn game lol
Pitioss rocks.
In the most masochistic way possible :D
[8 days later voice] I love it but totally can understand how this place drives people up the wall.
fuck Crestholm. i get lost every single fucking time.
I've put way too many hours into 15 and at on both of my playthroughs, Crestholm is the one that always frustrates me the most. Costlemark is cool and only annoying cause of the constant jumpscares they try but it's also very obvious after the first one when you're gonna see it.
Didnt do the pitiouss ruins yet did you? “Laughs evilly like jafar”
I did Pitioss. It was annoying, but I don't count it as a dungeon.
But it is a dungeon. Ff15 creators say so. Call it an “optional” dungeon…but still a dungeon.
Anyway whatever. That place is HELL!
Why?
It's just a confusing maze to navigate.
