Least messy way of recording dirt and sand foleys?
Hello, i'm soon gonna record some footsteps and props in dirt, grass and sand flooring. Tape didn't do it for me, not versatile enough for different types of dirt. Because of that i'll be using real dirt and sand and i was wondering if is there a way to be messy-less while going for this option.
If there is none what would be the best option to make it easier to cleanup?

Use Tupperware boxes big enough for your shoes. Alternatively baking trays or litter boxes work, too. That way you have it all in one place and just need to dump it.
