[Event] Goblinslayer, aka Lira's genuine attempt to get back into the flow of things
6th Moon, 151 AC | The Eyrie
It was midday when wains traveling from Gulltown arrived at the Gate of the Moon, the banners of House Grafton billowing in the summer wind.
When asked by the gatekeeper who it was that waited inside the lead wagon, a Shett knight answered: "Lady Merry Grafton, lord-keeper. Your niece has come to serve under the Lady Perianne Arryn."
Joffrey had not mentioned expecting visitors from Gulltown, and so he frowned and asked, "and Lord Arryn has given his leave?"
The question caused the knight to wrinkle his nose in a poor attempt to mask his confusion at the question. Surely Lord Grafton's own brother would not refuse kin from entry?
"Tis why we are here, lord-keeper," came the gruff response. "Wouldn't have braved the roads otherwise, not when there are Royce bandits in the Bronze Pass harassing Gulltown wagons."
"This is the first I've heard of these bandits," replied Artys skeptically, noting that his brother was (unsurprisingly) still quarreling with their neighbor. The knight remained silent and patiently waited for a response. Given no reason to deny his own kin, the gatekeeper signaled to the men below to grant the party entry.
