Riverrun | 12th Moon, 56 AC

It was the first event hosted at Riverrun since the wedding of Ormund Lannister and Leyla Tully some years before, and little had changed. Gone, of course, was the excess showing of wealth and pomp, which had graciously been funded by the lions of Casterly Rock--allowing for the Trident's more rustic and familiar charms to shine through.

Spring rains had come and gone mere weeks before the feast and the Tumblestone and Red Fork both sat higher than usual and flowed stronger than was normal. The fields and meadows, well rained and maintained, were green and plentiful, with crop and flowers dotting the lands around the Trident, while fishermen and the v

A raven flies out in the later half of the 4th Moon. It bears the sigil of the silver trout.

To [title] [name] of [holdfast],

It is my honor to invite you and yours to a feast at Riverrun in the 12th moon of this year to celebrate a fruitful spring. Let us come together and enjoy bonds, old and new, and look toward a joint future.

Family, Duty, Honor,

Lord Paramount Brynden Tully of Riverrun

I'm aware my activity has been god awful the last couple of weeks, so for context, my team was unexpectedly let go during a RIF and I have spent the last few weeks trying to figure stuff out. I decided to apply for jobs to see what was out there, thinking it would take a few months to land something decent, instead I got a couple of offers right off the bat--one of which I am starting next week.

I am also relocating/traveling to work on this project but expect to be active again once things are more settled... hopefully the next couple of weeks.

I apologize for my lack of activity, as I took this time to unburn out and downsize/sell stuff, deep clean my house, self care, etc. When I appe

The castle is ruled by Lord Paramount Brynden Tully, who succeeded his father Lord Prentys Tully, and his grandsire before him, Lord Edmyn Tully. His wife, Lady Violet Blackwood; and mother, Lady Alysanne Tyrell, aid his rule in different capacities. His uncle, Ser Edmyn Tully, is the castle's Castellan.

Riverrun is the ancestral castle of House Tully, the Lords Paramount of the Trident. It is situated in the western riverlands, at the confluence of the Tumblestone and Red Fork rivers.

Riverrun is a strong three-sided castle, although not especially large. Riverrun is bordered on the north by the Tumblestone and on the south by the Red Fork, while on the west a third side

Ceremony

The wedding itself took place within the Sept of Riverrun, a modest but comfortable seven-sided structure built of sandstone. Within, depictions of the Seven were painted on white silver-veined marble, and stained glass windows created a rainbow illusion in the white smoke that rose to the ceiling as Septon Martyn held a crystalline censer high above his head while the groom and bride recited the seven prayers and exchanged their vows.

Ser Ormund Lannister wore Lannister ruby and gold, the ceremonial wedding cloak–made of plush velvet and lined with ermine placed upon his shoulders. Beside him, Leyla Tully, wore House Tully’s cloak, a more mod

Thank you to the mods for the trust and opportunity, and I look forward to writing with everyone, especially those in the Riverlands.

Leaving the house mostly as-is except for a mod-approved gender swap/minor additions to Edmyn Tully's children.

xo,

12th Moon, 48 AC | Mistwood

Not long after the death of Argella Durrandon, Roelle Baratheon--born a Mertyns--became emotionally closed off and prone to long bouts of sleep. The unexpected return of her twin brother, while a comfort, did less to soothe than what Jon (and perhaps Orryn) had hoped, as it wasn't long before she turned to isolation. Furthermore, news of her own mother's declining state dragged her further into a despair so deep that even her pregnancy failed to free her from it.

Perhaps in hopes of lifting her spirits, her husband took leave from his duties at Storm's End to accompany her home to be surrounded not only by family, but fami

AW made me do it. I’ll be slow the next 2 weeks though, have a trip and other real life obligations planned.

I’ve informed the mods and some of you may already know this but I have been dealing with some health issues for the last ~8 weeks or so and they have severely impacted my quality of life. Unfortunately, that means writing has been put on the back burner while I recover.

I apologize to everyone who’s been waiting on me… I hope to return to activity soon but will understand if anyone wants to go another direction with their characters. Sorry again and ty everyone your patience/understanding.

12th Moon, 46 AC. Mistwood.

Two women sat alone inside the highest room within the Tower of the Owl. A large oval mirror, leaning against the wall, reflected them. The woman in front, Arielle Whitehead, had seen better days. That she could leave bed and sit still in a chair with minimal help was no small thing, given her state. Her eyes were half-closed, difficult to see in her hooded sockets and behind the tangle of thinning, mostly-gray hair.

But Roelle, who sat behind her mother, could see them. It was not often her mother opened her eyes, not often she saw the distinct shade of blue which she had always--and would always--associate with her mother. They were dim now, unfocus
