Those old lord models floored me. Lot of character in much simpler models, and ours is the most unique of the bunch.
Depending on how the pricing shakes out, I am gonna grab him and Archaeon.

Never actually picked this model up back in the day as I didn't really like how it's got a human face kind of on the back of the bird head, I'd have much rathered just the bird head. Here is an old picture where you can see what I mean a little better.

Oh wow. I didn't even notice but now after seeing that old pic. I can see it on this new one.. crazy! The old sculpts had so much character.

They really did but honestly I think the late 80s/early 90s champions were better again! There weren't many great Tzeentch ones sadly but there were some unreal Slaanesh and Khorne ones.

I love the one with the fungoid body and staff she globe of change and the flamer arm guy, don't have either if them unfortunately. I have the guy in the bottom left with the staff which is also quite cool. The helmetted Amon Duul is another favourite of mine from that era.

I find this mini looks really dated, didnt age that well. I see some nostalgic people trying to get one, but I'll pass on this one.

Tzeentch and birds is great and all, but I think it just goes too overboard on the bird-level.

I’ve had my eyes on this particular model for a long while. Didn’t want to grab one off of eBay due to the cost put onto this particular model, and some didn’t include the familiar.
Of course, we’ll have to see how much GW prices these things. I skipped on the horrors because they only came in groups of 5 rather than 10, and they didn’t include the sculpt where a horror was emerging from the mouth of another horror.
Oh wow that horror sculpt would be amazing!
