This is a watch that I will definitely own at some point this year. Absolutely stunning 😍
Mine is in slightly better condition than this one ☺️
Nice, I notice that in general the keypad faceplates seem to be less scratched on these than on the CD-401. Do you know if they are finished in different material?
I think it’s the same material but most functions on these are done from the side buttons so just generally less worn through less usage I guess?
Probably right. The basic calculator controls look the same as the cd-401, but I reckon that they've had a whole lot of telephone numbers punched into them over the years.
Mode --> Timekeeping mode
Press Adjust for few seconds
The time should blink
Press Stop/Start to change time
Press Mode to switch from Seconds to Minutes to Hour to Date... and so on
Press Alarm on/off to accept changes
Most Casios will have a very similar method of time and date setting. Don't let all the other buttons confuse you.
That sequence doesn’t seem to work on this! It sets the time by typing the time into the calculator numbers but none of the top or side buttons switch to any kind of flashing date. All the buttons do something when it’s not in adjustment mode though 🤔 I’m not new to Casio but this one has me totally stumped!
Hmmm... let me see if I can find the manual.
Ah... So according to the manual, the buttons are different to the normal Casio modes. I stand corrected. But you should be able to follow the instructions quite easily. All the best with it!
Would you mind posting a pic of the manual page if you have it, please? ☺️ Or is it identical to the sequence you posted as I’m struggling with that lol
