Mountainside Boudoir

Poem

My chest rises and falls

in amorous fits and spurts

at the sight of that lingerie,

a lustful and fiery red.

She bares herself slowly,

her ornate intimates falling away

and catching the fading sun

as they dance in the air.

The translucent scarlet

graciously hides my blush

as I try to remain respectful—

but without averting my gaze.

She is fully revealed

in the glow of the twilight,

gently shivering as the

breeze traces her body.

I reach out and find her

cool to the touch,

breathe in her fragrance

warm and sensuous.

This moment of passion

overwhelms my senses—

yes, these trees are

intoxicating in the fall.

Hello! Thanks for reading through. I’ve been actively trying my hand at poetry for… (checks watch) …about four days. I love nature, and I wanted to try expressing that invigorating feeling it gives me in a flirtatious sort of way. Had fun with this one :)
