Forlorn Figures

Rushing steps and car horns

A puppy hides behind the wheels,

Two figures screaming at each other

A kid hides in the corner,

Eyes wandering for wonders

Souls wandering for shelter,

A gust of wind from a vale

Makes the birds on the tree

Shiver like naked beggars.
