A cassette tape rewinding. Canisters unspooling and tracing back a cassette Tape rewinding. A mistake scrutinized over and over Rewinding a tape cassette. Contextually inverting and reverting to a child crying over mistakes on a VHS tape rewinding like a cassette in a Tape deck. Songs on repeat on a road trip on a tape deck on a tape VHS. Rewinding and crying over tape pulled from a cassette rewinding a tape that’s rewinding. To a tape VCR in a tape deck playing the same songs on a road trip of a tape rewinding. whv are you crving. Reading lines off of a strand of tape inverted. Eyes watching backwards through a car window that is winding forward. And the tape is rewinding. And the tape is rewinding. And the tape is rewinding. And the tape is rewinding. the tape is rewinding. the tape is rewinding. tape is rewinding. rewinding. rewinding. rewinding.
Crying in reverse. Crying inverted. Crying on a vcr on Tears crying Tears. Crying alone in a car on a Paused Tape Spool. Paused on Tears cried. Paused on an empty parking lot. Paused on a pile of unspooled Tape. Paused on a failure. Paused on broken pencils. broken hearts. broken dreams. broken promises. repeated. searched. traced. rewound.
still and quiet.
