Yall are just finding out rtsp sucks?

Dhavi_Atoz•

The fact that RTSP allowed his patronage a second time definitively demands a boycott.

I was there on Friday. After reading this I won’t be returning

Time to go elsewhere.

Edit: This makes me super salty. This man needs to be shunned in public.

LOL, I did at that!

2
Warr1orM0nk•

No, you should go there and when you bump into him, let him know what you think of him.

2
thickdabsCamden•

Man if I was there being a person of color and living near Camden I’d say hey remember when you said people like US should have guns? And then give him the finger while I purchase a hand gun and long gun

1
Baboonslayer323•

Don’t harrass him but friendly conversation without raising your voice could go far.

-1†

2 days in a row smh. I wonder if he is doing it to mess with their business. RTSP has the right as a business to say he isn't welcome. It's up to them to do it if they choose. As has been said, when people notice him there they will no longer feel welcome as he is anti 2A and wants to take their rights away from them. He even said the law he was trying to get passed had nothing to do with criminals and had all to do with the law abiding.

25
Cfgh0st•

100% they should have booted his ass out. Then he can cry to the rest of the gun grabbing Democrats about how he was treated because his political beliefs don't align with that private business owner's, kinda like his current stance on private business owners and PTC holders. Pot meet douchebag.

1

We shouldn’t stand for it. Don’t let him exercise the rights he has carved out for himself and his LEO union donors, while he restricts ours. He should be a pariah in a place like that. Shame on RTSP for even letting him in the door. He should never have a peaceful range day again in NJ. Approach him and ask uncomfortable questions until he leaves. Don’t be rude, his position is indefensible and he is a hypocrite. Just point that out….repeatedly.

25
Weak_Name_7562•

Everyone here needs to Call RTSP Union to complain. I did and you should to. This is no different than calling politicians to vote "NO" on anti-2A legislation.

I have it on good authority that he did not even know how to lock his slide back and needed to be shown.

“I’m a gun guy”

mtsai•

i really hope not because he is a veteran.

2
keepnjtactical•

I've seen veterans not know the manual of arms of an AR, mostly because they don't do it that often.

Non-combat MOS no doubt

1
highcross1983•

He was in the Army he bragged...goes to show you something.

1
thickdabsCamden•

I feel like he’s one of those guys who would say hey can I see that gun? And then point it at you to see sights lmao

1
keepnjtactical•

I saw him and was waiting for exactly that

1
SnooGuavas2202•

Did someone gets video of him? Send to all 2A groups

10
DigFit2608•

Yeah I can’t believe this happen two days in a row and no photo or video of the incident.

7
ManInKilt•

They've got cameras there, someone can get a grab

4
largos7289•

Yup RTSP would go out of biz the next day, no 2A person should go there. I've been to the one in union and wasn't that impressed. The best part is... cancel cuture works both ways and it works, especially with politicians. So he runs on anti gun agenda... then goes to a gun range, interesting. I would plaster his face all over NJ in there handling guns. They would drop him so fast we wouldn't need to do any damage to him.

10
jayfade1985OP•

The guy looked he know he didn't belong in there what a hypocrite it was him and a friend...his aim was trash by the way RSO was showing him how to hold is micro H&K

8
Shot_Sky_4481•

I imagine he will be one if the exceptions to carry where he chooses,if true its a load of crap.

2

Wasn’t the dude a kitchen firefighter in the army? Talks about using guns in the army and the dude didn’t even use one regularly as part of his MOS. Poser.

2
shortround1990•

Can some one give me a TLDR of this drama?

6
ManInKilt•

Vocally anti gun "the point is to go after the legal owners" representative starts going to local ranges and buying guns

10
shortround1990•

Oh that’s weird

Me not thee type of thing?

7
ManInKilt•

Bingo

Another useless sticky by the benevolent moderator of this sub. It is not harassment to speak with your elected representatives. You have your first amendment rights.

3†
ksoltis•

They never said it was. They literally said don't harass him, not don't talk to him. And it's great advice.

5
lp1911•

Didn’t an elected Democrat leader tell their flock to get into Trump officials’ faces and let them know they are not welcome? And they did, with no repercussions. Seems like verbal harassment is ok as long as Democrats are the ones doing the harassing…

I call dibs on posting this yet again tomorrow.

3
TheYungCS-BOI•

2nd day in a row, do we have anything else to go off of other than reddit posts regarding the veracity of these claims?

3
thickdabsCamden•

I wonder if he had to wait months for permits do elites even need FIDs?

3
stankstonkstunk•

Has he been shooting long or is he brand new?

If novice, perhaps he's doing due diligence?

Maybe this is the chance to see the culture of responsible 2A citizens.

I'm not defending his policy and apparently hypocrisy in any wa,, shape or form. Perhaps there is an opportunity to persuade rather than persecute in this instance?

Fastest way to end this legislation? Convert the sponsor.

2†
ManInKilt•

Extremely charitable of you but I doubt it, just wants to make sure he's got his before he takes everyone else's

Claims to be a hunter and gun owner

If novice, perhaps he's doing due diligence?

See above

Maybe this is the chance to see the culture of responsible 2A citizens.

Can't do that on the firing line, he'd have to actually engage with the patrons. I wasn't there, so I can't say he didn't. But it's probably safe to assume he didn't.

I'm not defending his policy and apparently hypocrisy in any wa,, shape or form. Perhaps there is an opportunity to persuade rather than persecute in this instance?

Love your clear conscience and massive heart. I agree that we're all in this together. But no, he is a partisan playing partisan politics. Watch the hearings and his responses and body language. He knows it's bullshit, yet carries on. It's tough to bullshit a bullshitter, and I have that on good authority because I too am a fantastic bullshit artist. Maybe I'll run for public office!

Fastest way to end this legislation? Convert the sponsor.

Nah, see above. Just keep faith that this legislation will be recognized as unconstitutional, since it is, and will be stayed the same way it's been in NY. And then ultimately the Supreme Court will see this crap in a few years, and maybe, finally, they'll say "OK steppers, the jig is up. We handed down a decision in June of 2022 and you just keep shitting on our desks. You may no longer legislate any restrictions to the 2a, and any restrictions currently on your books are hereby null and void."

6
omegavyrus•

He can’t stop it. It’s out of the of his hand. He also won’t rock the boat of his party, who clearly picked him to “author” the bill. He should have done his due diligence before he voted to pass it through the Assembly.

4

His stance is "I'm a gun guy" "I'm a long time hunter" I belive this is all theater so he can say I know what's best. I know he has been a firearms owner for a long time but, more of a Fudd than anything else.

3
stankstonkstunk•

Based oh his trash aim w handgun... I wonder. Just offering a different angle to consider to arrive at the same result which is preserve and protect our rights w/out being infringed.

1
Cfgh0st•

Due diligence should come BEFORE you shit all over the constitution and then willfully choose to stand next to the same people you're fucking over and infringing on their rights. There is little doubt in my mind that he was trying to elicit a negative reaction so that he could further push his agenda that we're hostile, hair triggered assholes.

1
Warr1orM0nk•

Y’all are talking about boycotting. I say you do the exact opposite. Go to whatever gun range he goes to and let him know that he is not welcome in the gun community. This is a legitimate political protest. We have every right to confront political representatives in public. Be polite and cordial but make your opinions known.

2
jkiii8613•

For me, I wouldn’t specifically boycott the range, but I’m going to boycott the store portion. I would rather buy from someone else at this point

3
CaptainTeemoJr•

As I’ve seen multiple posts like this, it sounds like a cancel campaign. How very left of you all.

2†
omegavyrus•

Would you rather lose on principle? The left wins the battle for public opinion because their tactics work.

5
CaptainTeemoJr•

I’d rather just operate my business. But to boycott an entire range just from servicing one customer, I get who it is, is authoritarian, leftist, and I can’t get behind those tactics. Plus, if you boycott successfully and it shuts down, that’s one less place to be able to shoot. It’s a lose/lose. Don’t punish the business for operating its business.

1
omegavyrus•

I hear you. I’m not advocating one way or another…but the 2A community gets shit on and attacked constantly. This was one customer they didn’t need to serve…and if the community feels they same way, they should be vocal about it. Some businesses think they can ignore criticism but when they feel it in their bottom line, they start to listen. Unfortunately, nowadays you can’t separate operating your business and social media.

2
CaptainTeemoJr•

You’re not wrong. But I’m also not going to condone cancel culture.

0
thickdabsCamden•

This place should be boycotted for there prices lmao

2
DRPEDICLE2•

Oh what gave that away charging $50 to learn how to pull from your holster

2
riajairam•

Deal with him at the ballot box. A few years ago gun rights activists showed up at Steve sweeney’s house. It wasn’t a good look.

But what was a GREAT look was when Ed Durr knocked him out.

2
AKaracter47•

If Sweeney was still in, this CCW Bill would have no chance of making it's way to the Senate floor for a vote. Ed Durr is on our side, but has absolutely no power in the Senate.

2
riajairam•

Sweeney would have gotten it to the floor. He used to be pro gun but changed sometime in 2013 or so.

1
AKaracter47•

I usually agree with you on most stuff, but can't on this one. Sweeney hated Murphy. There were anti-gun Bills that Sweeney didn't bring to the floor for votes after 2013. He cared more about reelection, than appeasing Murphy and the anti-gunners.
