If you're looking to get into this, then you're off to a very good start. You've really captured a feeling of almost desperate perserverance, it's sad and sweet.

The repetition about the flowers drying followed by the more hopeful lines works really well I think, the sense of perseverance and uwillingness to accept the truth is brilliant.

The only thing I would say, personally I think you could get rid of some words here and there. For example, you have 'and' at the beggining of a lot of the lines, I don't think it really needs to be there. You could also drop 'again' from the end of the 5th line, I think it would improve the structure a bit.

Not bad for your first time around. I see you're trying to employ some repetition, but it would be more effective if you employed the line "the flowers in the garden have dried up" more consistently. Repetition is like rhythm in poetry, and employing it incorrectly can confuse the reader.

I agree with the other person on repetition. I think for the third last line, you should use the same "the flowers in the garden have dried."

Like the other others have said, this is good for a first poem. The poem portrays a child-like innocence and desperation for wanting things back the way they were. If that was your intent, then it was very effectively put across. There seems to be a grammatical error in the fourth line; it should have been "they ache to be picked up."

The last three lines of the poem didn't work for me. It seemed a bit anti-climatic.

The flowers have dried
Your voice is like flowers
Speak to me

The reason I say it didn't work for me is it took me out of the reverie I was in. It felt jarring and abrupt. Also, these three lines were much shorter than the previous lines so I felt that the rhythm that was nicely maintained was lost a bit.

The flowers have dried
Like your voice that speaks no longer
Speak to me

Also, do you think "speak to me again" would be more effective?

The flowers in the garden have dried

do you miss me more than I remember you?

the flowers in the garden have dried

and they ache to pick up 

I will sit outside and piece them together again

the flowers in the garden have dried 

and I will drown them in your incense

and write words of false affirmations on the petals

this is my first ever poem written, I really want to get into this so please give me tips and feedback!
