like to act as if

they wouldn't fall

in the same trap

your captivating lies

your fake promises

and empty words

how can someone be so shallow?

how can you act like it's so

easy to just forget me and move on

it's easy for people to sit back

and act like they're strong enough

to leave but little do they know

holding on requires more strength

the blinds that were covering my eyes

are slowly falling down
