Not American, just wondering. Assuming someone reports that post, does the FBI actually do something? Or do they like, I don't know, put them on some watch list or something?
There's so many violent fascists everywhere, I can only assume the FBI would have its plate full with that and they probably have other shit to do as well.

Honestly, it depends. With specific names and a fairly direct threat, there is a better chance of actually having some action. As you said, the amount of this crap is overwhelming but after Gabby Gifford in Arizona, this might get some attention.

I see, yeah. I'm guessing the trend must be a little disturbing for people who have a much better understanding of how widespread it all is. I see these things pretty much only on reddit (don't use other social media) and I already see it way too often.

An author (Daniel O'Brien) once got a visit from the secret service for writing a book called "How to Fight Presidents". It was comedy (with ridiculous stuff like that if all else fails you can play dead and hopefully Theodore Roosevelt will lose interest and stop mauling you) and all the presidents included were deceased already.

Phoenix is like other major metro areas. It's mostly purple with pockets of red and blue.

Yeah and AZ flipping during the election, even just a bit, does help but it’s still one of the situations where you’re in a blue island but surrounded by red that ended up making the laws you have to live with.

Conservatives post this shit to social media all the time. This is the free speech they are always ranting about. Getting banned or put in facebook jail over this insane rhetoric is the terrible persecution they think they suffer.
Its why dealing with them is a fucking nightmare for moderators but its also why they are kept on social media. Because starting fights between people who talk like this and everyone else is "engagement" for facebook.

I'm currently in small town Arizona and the level of crazy at the dog park is off the charts. Within 2 minutes of saying nice dog you got there, the conversation goes to vaccines, the Democrats who stole the election recently and it just goes downhill from there. Always within a couple of minutes. I just wanted to let my dog run around with your dog.

Yeah it's kind of a pain, when I get to the dog park I'll do something else if there's a certain couple of pickup trucks there. It's just not worth it.
What gets me is just how fast it comes up in conversation. These are all mostly snowbirds and people camping out for the winter.
