My Undiagnosis

Poem

Wake up

Hit snooze

Wake up

Hit snooze

Wake up hit snooze

Rinse and repeat

7 times

Wake up

Get dressed

Don’t eat

You don’t have time

Get to class with three minutes to spare

Stare into space for forty minutes

Rinse and repeat

8 times

Get in the car

Go home

Sit on your bed for five hours

You can do your homework in the morning

You just have to set your alarm

But you can’t snooze

Not this time

Rinse and repeat

Every time

Every day

Rinse and repeat

Every day

Rinse and repeat

Rinse and repeat

Rinse and repeat

Rinse and repeat

Shit

I feel as though my brain is all scrambled

One person tells me I’m fine

Another says I should take a pill

Another tells me to just get it together

Every thing contradicts

And now it’s even more scrambled

One person tells me it’s this

Another tells me it’s that

Another tells me it’s nothing

So I don’t know what to think

This one diagnosed

The other disagreed

Everything is fine but nothing is fine

And I’m crying again

Because of my undiagnosis

Undiagnosis

Undiagnosis

You’re fine

No you’re not

My Undiagnosis
