Could be the brake fluid level sensor.

I’ll check it out

That's what I was leaning towards. That or possibly the brake light switch. Couldn't hurt to check it.

Didn’t think of that, will check it!

Hello guys,

Recently I noticed the parking brake light on while driving my 2004 WRX and I don’t know what it may be. I changed the 4 brake pads, front brake rotors and did steel brake lines a month ago and the car runs and brakes fine. I thought it was just my brake fluid being low, but today I topped it off, and no changes. I also thought it may be the parking brake cable sensor, but the parking brake doesn’t feel loose.

Any clue what it may be?

Thanks!
