What sound does a clock make again?

A million clocks makes a million ticks
They tick on our walls and tick on our wrists
They tick in our skin and tick in our minds
They tick in all homes and tick at all times
The ticking never stops
like the wind and the sea
It ticks as we stop ignoring all pleas
The ticking wont stop even with good cause
