Reopening as Burmese Curry Place, or reopening as “something new and exciting”?

Would be an amazing, early Xmas gift. I’m being seduced by the ‘reopening’ word being used. The last time I visited was Jan this year I think, before it closed.
Imagine the queue on day 1 if it did reopen, as it was previously.

It's basically fish sauce with sliced chillies in it. You've possibly seen it before at other Asian restaurants

If its the same as before then Cant wait, but as others have said new chef , new management but same name doesn't usually end well.
Look forward to reading reviews and opinions once it opens.

I looked in the shop today. The 'Reopening January' sign is gone but things have been moved into the shop which aren't visible in the pic above: Cash register, drinks fridge, picture menu board and so on. Looking forward to a #4 & #6 again.

The family that ran the restaurant sold the building when they closed. So I would find it very strange if it was the same people. But I really hope it is.

Actually the people that owned the building put the rent up so much they forced the Burmese Curry house out.
From info I've heard I doubt this is the Curry house opening here again.
They do want to reopen somewhere sometime again so I would like this sign to be true.

Fuck those guys are the worst. Killed the Phoenix too. Curry house and phoenix are burned into my soul from uni.

The family that ran the curry house owned the building the curry house operated from. This is fact not done shot at an unknown landlord. I hope they reopen, but they have sold the building
