Reading this is actually depressing me. 😆 I enjoyed the illusion of Martin's value while he lingered around like a bad odor. I can honestly say his presence, however small, is one of the only reasons I read the series.

The sad truth is that Marten has become an NPC, being reduced to someone who only makes small comments in the background.

While these are a great visual representation to how Marten has been reduced to useless in the comic, I kind of want to see the reverse (everyone else removed and Marten just randomly spouting comments at nobody as he moves through life without a care)
it's kind of sad to see him being so misused
