Push Health Help Needed

Question

Hi! I was able to transfer my rx from my mom-and-pop pharmacy to a CVS and got my 5 mg today! woo! However, my old pharmacy did not transfer over the additional refill claiming that by law, they could not do that (I've never heard of this but...) My Push provider advised that I can change my pharmacy in the chart section but I'm coming up blank. Any insights are incredibly helpful! I've already messaged my provider but she's in LA and I'm on the East Coast so the time difference is super tricky.

If you have the app, you can change under request prescription. I also think you can change it before you submit the order and pay. Right above the pharmacy there is a big red button that says change.

Sometimes with pharmacies - they can only transfer one at a time. I’ve had this happen w/ a medication. So next time I needed a refill- I called the old pharmacy to transfer the refill over.

In another instance- I was told if I transferred my RX out of state it would cancel the refills.

Recently, Capsule pharmacy stated they do not allow Mounjaro prescriptions to be transferred to them. 🤔 But they could allow my other medications to be transferred to them. Super confusing. Perhaps with a transfer of a Mounjaro prescription it doesn’t attach the dx code(?)

But you were able to transfer one prescription of Mounjaro. Maybe let it wait a week, then ask the OG pharmacy again. Or have cvs initiate it.

This is just my experience- don’t know how true it is. I’m not a pharmacist- just a person who uses a pharmacy.
