Apparently things are getting much faster...

Early on in this journey, I shared that there are 9 other business owners that I partner with in a common industry. We evaluate each other's businesses operationally as well as financially and make suggestions on how to improve. Everyone, eventually filed for the ERTC's.

This week alone, 4 of the members of the group have received ALL 6 quarters of credits. The most recent recipient filed in September, with each quarter being over $200K. Yesterday, he received $1.6M across all the 6 checks. He didn't make any calls, didn't use an advocate, he just submitted and sat back and patiently waited.

For those who are waiting on large checks, have faith that things apparently are processing much, much faster now.

We have received all of ours, these were members of our Performance Group.

The most recent member of the group who received all 6 quarters filed in September, with each quarter being over $200K.

I’m actually of the opinion that calling does absolutely nothing in terms of speeding up the process! They are working through things as quickly as they can and in the order received.

Patience is the key here!

I agree calling doesn’t speed it up but they definitely not working in order received . I had people file after me get checks while I’ve got nothing and they filed 2 months after me

I’m sure there are different queues based on size of refund, location where you file, and whether you get flagged for a second review. I meant that they work through each queue in order, and since you have no control which queue you are in, calling doesn’t change that.

As I shared too many times, I called weekly and understood exactly where our credits were in the process. Based on this, I was able to received a Congressional referral which led to an Advocate being assigned. The Advocate was the person who drove things to completion and she was amazing in terms of not only communicating, but doing exactly what she said she was going to do on the dates she did it.

By my detail of the dates in the process, she was able to escalate our credits and get them processed in less than 45 days. She was amazing.

I’m still waiting, 2 checks were mailed out on February 15 the other one May 5th. All were send to the previous address. All lost. Call IRS got help from a representative in Puerto Rico she was amazing. Help me file the missing check forms for all 3 checks. Help me fill out the change of address form that had to be overnight to the IRS. Received confirmation of changed to address. Never heard from the again that was 8/2. Called a congressman got assigned a advocate. Confirmed checks to be mail out December 6. Never got them. Found out December 23 that checks were mailed out to the wrong address AGAIN. Now I’m told give us 9 months and you should get them. 3 months to wait for the checks to be found. 3 months to review the new forms I have to resubmit and 3 months for them to process them again. Not sure what to do next.

That sounds very rough, I hope it works out for you though.

Did you received any letters from IRs

2
JustAGoodGuy1080OP•

I think this is directed at me. The letters we received were the CP210's which were notifications that the checks were cut.

We did also receive letters from our Advocate confirming the steps she was taking, and then a letter stating she took the steps and what to expect.

How did you get an advocate for your file

I reached out to our US Congressman, shared that our credits were stuck in the Admin process and provided all of the dates from the date received/scanned into the system, through Cat B and then Cat A approval and that the credits were never sent to the Admin for the cutting of the checks.

They asked for all the documentation of filings, etc., and they reached out to the Advocate's office at the IRS who took things from there.

From the Advocate's assignment to checks being delivered was less than 45 days.

I just saw this and posted something similar. I was like your most recent recipient, just submitted and sat back and waited. I wouldn't say patiently, but I waited. And waited and waited. Big checks arrived today.

What’s your timeline

Filed 941X in June. 2 checks under $200K arrived in September. The big ones (over $200K) arrived today. Great way to end the year.

Did you receive a 6240c form ?

What address did they send theirs to?

If you're talking the 941x filings, they went to both Cincy and Ogden, UT. No rhyme or reason on processing time that we could discern.
