ON 9/28/2022 mailed 941-x for 4th qtr 2020 as well as 2nd and 3rd qtrs 2021. I made no phone calls to IRS nor did I receive any other mailings for additional information or anything. Check range was from 42k to 54k. I filled out 941-x's myself so no 3rd party involvement.

Clients ERTC was filed early February received check in about 40 -45 days! Sounds unbelievable but they processed the first check fast! Over $250k

Waiting on the rest of the checks. Didn’t call the IRS didn’t try to rush anything.

Just wanted to post a little positive news

After a long wait of over a year and a half, we finally have our final check (which was 7 figures). Most recent movement on it started feb 14. I called and it was then assigned that day. Approved feb 21, check date given of March 21. Received March 23. 47k of interest! Hallelujah!

Excited checks are supposed to be sent out today. I really need this money. I'm live in Lake Tahoe and we had a brutal winter. I was closed more than open due to the weather. It will be nice to breath again

This Reddit group has been incredibly helpful for me so I wanted to provide details on my ERTC journey.

Background:

• Healthcare industry
• Total credit applied for = $3.0 million (1 quarter under $200k all others over)
• Applied through regional accounting firm. Fee was 2.5% of total credit. Payable after credit received. They signed filings which was a relief. Very flexible.

Timing

• Filed 6 quarters on 09/30/2022 -1st payment for quarter under 200k was received on November 21st
• 2 more quarter paid on 03/13/2023
• Congressman contact mid feb for request of a tax advocate. Feb 15th ish
• Tax advocate assigned. Late Feb.
• Even though I am an owner of the business the tax advocate said

If it helps anyone else, we've finally received all 4 of our checks. We filed the 941X forms in June. 2 checks under $200K were received in September. The 2 checks over $200K arrived this week - nice way to close out the year. We never called the IRS to check on the status - I just didn't have the patience to wait on hold. Also, from what I've read in this sub, that many people get different answers every time they call. Best of luck to everyone, and hope those who are still awaiting their checks find some solace that things appear to be moving along now. Happy new year!

Early on in this journey, I shared that there are 9 other business owners that I partner with in a common industry. We evaluate each other's businesses operationally as well as financially and make suggestions on how to improve. Everyone, eventually filed for the ERTC's.

This week alone, 4 of the members of the group have received ALL 6 quarters of credits. The most recent recipient filed in September, with each quarter being over $200K. Yesterday, he received $1.6M across all the 6 checks. He didn't make any calls, didn't use an advocate, he just submitted and sat back and patiently waited.

For those who are waiting on large checks, have faith that things apparently are processing much,

Mailed July 13, received July 18, called a few weeks ago and was told to expect 20 weeks, it had been 7 so I figured 13 more. Received a “correction” in the mail Tuesday, they had calculated interest they owed us and the notice said expect a check in 2-3 weeks. Check arrived in the mail today. Just north of $60k for the quarter.
