[PC] Netgear GS908E 8 Port Gigabit Managed Switch

US-E

Upgrading to a PoE switch, so looking to sell this.

It is an 8 port managed switch (simple UI management). It supports VLANs, VLAN trunking, rudimentary QoS, and port aggregation (I don’t think it’s LACP).

Installed firmware is 1.7.0.2 (latest is 1.7.0.3).

I bought 4 for under $20 each and it wasn't a price mistake.

But, when it's not on sale, it seems to have been closer to $50 or $60. Selling used, I would think you could probably get in the $40ish range, if you get people that didn't see them go for that price and who just want to add some VLAN functionality quickly/easily.

These are in that weird half-market-area where they offer more functionality than a home user needs but less functionality than a homelabber wants, so YMMV

Definitely in that weird half-market-area for sure!

This is a friendly reminder that this is a price check thread. OP is looking to figure out the best way to part out and/or price their doohickey for later sale.

This IS NOT a sale thread. Do not offer to buy. Asking that a sale thread is posted is ok.

OP: If you wish to sell your awesome box of moldy widgets or whatever to any unsuspecting fool who sends in an offer, you must first make a real "FS" sale post including an asking price and the username and timestamped image. It is not hard, everyone else can figure it out, and it is for the safety of the community.

Anyone found violating the rules is subject to a ban, so just don't do it. Ok? great, thanks.

Based on the features you listed the GS908e sounds like the desktop version of the GS308e so that might put an upper bound on your asking price. There for a while last year, Amazon would routinely discount the GS308e to $25. I don't recall any similar deals coming up recently, though.
