Replacing a current chain link fence with a 6 ft privacy fence. Been digging holes for a couple days and cut out a portion of a buried coax. I convinced myself not to call 811 as they were just out last year and the markers were all a foot, or more, from the fence line. Poor choice on my part.

The coax was about 34” deep and the service provider was able to patch it. I helped dig up more of the hole so they could put on the splice. The tech was pretty cool and we chatted a bit, but at the end of the day, it’s above their pay grade if I’m charged or not. I did ask how much we can expect, but they said they just submit the paperwork and notes. They did say they’d note I helped out, so hopefu

class and parttwo function code: https://pastebin.com/u7Vscucs

Looking for a sanity check on my part two code. I know the answer is >10million (I submitted 10million and AoC let me know it was too low). Currently, I am coming up on 200million and the code has been running for about 12 hours now :(

Anyway, I am passing a list of `class node` items and the `directions` string to the `parttwo` function. The class node is in the pastebin. It's just has a `name` and dict of `adj_nodes` strings.

I start parttwo obtaining the list of nodes ending with "A" and assign to `current_nodes`. I obtain the names of the nodes ending in "Z" and assign to `en

Looking for some guidance/pointers on my Day 7 pt 2 attempt. I can get the example answer, but not the actual input answer.

I created a hand_class to store the cards, bid, and card_values (list of ints representing the cards). The card_values lets me use the python sort.

For Part 1, I sorted the list of hands. I then went through them in a for loop, found the set of uniq cards, then a few if's to place them into a dict of lists corresponding to the hand type. I then used another for loop to parse through this dict (keys are ints, so I can use the range function to go in order of best to worst).

Since I sorted the hands in

Howdy folks!

Looking for a bit of guidance. Somehow I made an extra payment to a credit card (I suspect I likely refreshed the page or clicked submit twice), effectively paying the balance twice! So now the card has a positive balance (let’s say +$100).

After putting this in YNAB and waiting for it to clear in both the CC and transfer account (just to make sure it’s truly a double payment), my RTA has a positive balance of $100.

I searched through this reddit and found a couple other posts similar. One of them says to add to the CC payment category. This brings RTA to $0.

But then the question comes up on how do I track spending to this? When I tried making the category the CC payment an

I have recently acquired a few UAP-IW-HD-US's, however, a couple do not have the back plates used for mounting to an electrical box. I've tried looking up the part number and searched Ubiquiti's store both to no avail.

So where can I buy these? And is there a part number to make things easier?

My son has more-or-less taken over my xbox and xbox account. He’s made progress on most of our games and has countless worlds in Minecraft.

I’m wanting to create myself a new parental account, the convert my current account to a child and gift it to him to keep all of his progress. I am presuming this part is mostly straight-forward.

My question comes in on the Microsoft side of things. I’ve had this account associated as an MS account pretty much since MS allowed it. I do use other MS services with this MS account.

So what happens when I convert the xbox account to a child account? Will it also convert the MS account? Can I change the MS account that’s associated with the xbox account?

Purchased a kit and the below is the tub spout. I called in to Delta asking for a fitting of some kind, and they sent the brass(??) item.

The brass fitting has an o’ring on the inside and outside, a set screw, and looks to be male threads.

The tub spout doesn’t look to have a way to connect to this fitting.

So how do I get this to work? Or how do I connect this spout to the copper nub?

Or do I need to get a different spout altogether? And if so, what kind/type?

So have a proxmox hypervisor with a vyos guest. I have a dedicated link to the vyos guest on enp1s0f3 (only member of vmbr0; directly attached to modem) attached to eth0 on the vyos guest. When the server goes down (a few power blips over the last month), the vyos eth0 does not get an IP address from the modem upon coming back online.

In order for the vyos eth0 to get an IP, I have to down the interface in proxmox (ip link set enp1s0f3 down), count to 10, bring it back up, then renew the IP in vyos.

Just today, I had another power blip. I jumped on the proxmox server and issued a tcpdump against the enp1s0f3 interface before starting anything.

I do see arp packets coming in and when I iss

I put a little python script together to help me better visualize paying off some credit card debt. I use it every couple months to make sure I am still on track. It's worked wonders so far and accounts for promotional interest rates. It's not exact but is only off by a few cents from the actual, so I'll keep it :)

Anyway, my question is how to calculate the payoff of a card with two rates (ie: standard rate and promotional balance transfer rate).

Say you have a balance of $1500 at 13.99%. You take the promotion for a $1500 (with fee) balance transfer at 0.00% for 12 months. If this isn't the first card to be paid off, how do you figure the minimum payment?

At the moment, in the script, I

Reviewing the bonding config on an appliance running CentOS, I see the below:

mode=803.2ad lacp_rate=fast xmit_hash_policy=layer3+4 use_carrier=1 miimon=100

This is currently working and have tested bringing down an interface. My question is on the last two options use_carrier=1 and miimon=100 being used together.

Some reading says

  • use_carrier determines to use the interface driver or the MII/ETHTOOL to determine if a link is up. A setting of 1 uses the interface driver
  • miimon specified how often MII link monitoring occurs

Does it make sense to us
