My girlfriend has been getting into more actiony horror games by way of the modern Resident Evil games, was hoping someone might have some more recommendations we haven't thought of. Games where we can fight back are important, no Amnesias or Somas for us.

This is what she's played so far:

RE2 Remake

RE3 Remake

RE4 Remake (only the Ada dlc, she watched me play Leon)

RE7 and most DLC

RE8

Alan Wake

Dead Space Remake (what we're currently playing, this is going ok but the combat is borderline too intense)

Alan Wake 2 is up next

I'm working from home, in my first full week of calls, and man it is rough. We're inside sales doing cold calls, after I get off a call I have anywhere from 3-10 seconds before the next one comes in and it is just exhausting. I'm supposed to make 350 calls a day right now but my understanding is that the number goes up when I'm out of 'training'

And every call is either VM, 2 seconds and then click, or level 100 anger.

I know it's not an ideal job, I'm just trying to keep a roof over my head in the COVID years, but man has it been rough.

Screen 1: ASUS TUF Gaming Gsync monitor Screen 2: Some old Samsung syncmaster Windows 10 system, 1070 gpu, couple years old i5 cpu

Whenever Screen 1 turns off or falls asleep the following happens:

  1. The system no longer sees the screen at all

  2. Thinking that it is now only connected to Screen 2, it moves everything over to Screen 2 as if it was a single monitor setup

  3. When Screen 1 wakes up or turns back on it is recognized as the primary monitor and everything that was condensed onto Screen 2 is now on Screen 1. So everything is crammed on 1 on top of each other and there's nothing on 2

Screen 2 is always recognized even if its asleep or off. It's not a world stopping problem bu

A Bunch of Pokemon Sales Graphs

Inspired by this post. I don't know how to make a graph that sexy looking but I thought it would be interesting to see the unit sales data broken out in different ways.

Some Observations:

  • Sword and Shield have sold well, outselling Black and White and being just below the initial releases of every gen after 2 while being out for less than a year. For every Switch in the wild .3 copies of Sword and Shield were sold
  • The sales of the flagship games post gen 2 have been very consistent, with Diamond and Pearl selling the most an

My right thumb is out of commission and I have to wear a brace that makes my whole right hand hard to use. Perfect timing, I'm not losing my mind at all.

I can use a mouse but I can't move quickly with accuracy. I was playing Skyrim before but now even that demands too much precision and speed.

I can hold a controller but I can't really press the face buttons on the right side unless I'm holding the controller in some weird way that makes the triggers essentially impossible to press.

I've been playing f2p card games but that's about it, any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

(I have a high end pc, Switch, PS4, 360, Gamecube, N64, SNES mini, 2DS, and I think a gameboy colo

Staying indoors because of the end of the world and downloaded the game to pass time, it's pretty cool. I know that physical cards come with codes but are their any currently active promotional codes? All the ones I could find said they were expired. Any help would be great thanks!

I bought bookcase speakers because I read that they give better sound quality for the money compared to speakers specifically for pcs. However, I wasn't aware of how the listed dimensions work and they're much bigger than I was expecting.

Dimensions: 12"x7"

I sit about 25"-35" inches away.

Sometimes I notice my ears getting tired, kind of like eyes getting tired from looking at a screen for too long. Am I sitting too close to these speakers? is there an optimal distance? Have I messed up?

Any wisdom or insight about speaker placement for pcs is welcome
