I think it’s apparent that we don’t want to have to wear monk robes and bring prayer pots to skill. What if instead it worked more similarly to planting an anima seed? The same way you can get a clue, giant fish, or bird nest from various gathering skills you could get some sort of ritual item. Then you sacrifice it at an altar specific to the skill, Zaros, Guthix, whatever idc. From then on for X amount of time you would have X effect. There could be different tiers of the ritual items or ones with different effects. I don’t know that this makes sense for Ruinous Prayer Book, but I think the idea might have legs in some other updates to

Hello everyone!

I am seeking 1-2 additional players for an upcoming homebrew campaign. My existing group is finishing up Curse of Strahd in the next 2-3 weeks, and we’ll be starting something fresh after that. One of my players isn’t able to continue on due to getting busier, so we have an opening.

Format: Fantasy Grounds (free for you) and Discord for voice

~~I am a semi-experienced DM who has been at it for a little over a year. I’ve been playing DND for 4 years now. I recently got Fantasy Grounds (a virtual tabletop program), and I’m invested in learning it and integrating it into some of my more long-term campaigns.

That’s where you come in. I want to run through a level 1-5 campaign (Lost Mines) with 4-5 new players. As I’m learning Fantasy Grounds, I want to teach you to play DND.
