Basically this software only works if I launch it as any other user (with same exact permissions) than the owner of the computer. If the owner tries to launch it, it crashes. It started suddenly with a Windows update and had worked up to that point
I can't be very specific about the software but does anyone have any ideas on why a program would launch with user A but not user B? Even if user B has admin rights to the workstation. Does launching a program as another user differ from launching it normally?
Hello dead subreddit. Yesterday 24.3.2022 our archeage community was shocked by huge bombshell news.
A player on EU EVO server Ardenia was depirated because he asked a GM nicely in the customer support. Imagine that. At worst it's favouritism, at best it's incompetence / admins bypassing game mechanics.
Has Kakao Games hit a new low publishing this game? You might as well start asking Kakao to regrade your items via Customer service channels "because you have failed it so many times"
I have a sort of a hierarchic structure and I want to VLOOKUP it's values but output on just one column. I can't figure out if that's even possible?
Below is a table of what my sheet looks like and what I'm trying to achieve, I have columns from 1 to 3 and randomly they might have a value or not, depending on the hierarchic structure I'm going to make. If I just use VLOOKUP I get 3 columns where one gets the information and the rest is #EMPTY and even if use a formula to get rid of empty cells, they will still be in the 2nd or 3rd new columns. But for readability's sake I'd want them to be on the same column (A4), regardless of the position of the cell that I'm comparing
I am wondering if it's possible to make this happen with Excel:
I have a sort of a database worksheet with two columns: code and name
I'm referencing those values with VLOOKUP in another sheet, I enter a code and the vlookup will get the corresponding name.
But I also want to be able to it the other way with a dropdown menu, but for the name. The intended use is that if I know the code, I will input it and get its name with vlookup. But if I don't know the name, I use the name column's dropdown menu to get the code.
how would one solve this kind of problem, I'm running into a wall here.
Basically my worksheet has a column A, which will tell me the value of B2 with VLOOKUP to the table below that acts as a database of sorts (so If A=A2, give me B2). The second table doesn't have to exist but helps keep the formula more concise (in my eyes)
But I have a problem, if the column A's value is, let's say 3123 AND it's row's B column's value is between 1-3 then I need to return 444. BUT if the row B's value is between 4 and 7 it should return 445. There are also a few other values when A is a certain value, the formula should look for the B column's value in the first table and determine the output on w
I'm trying to extract values between two characters from a data set. I can do it with 2 separate rows of simple LEFT/RIGHT functions but I'd like to do this with one formula. Problem that I'm facing is that the data is in a few different "formats". Can someone steer me in the right way, I've spent way too much time on this.
In short I need to extract everything between a cell's first " " until the first "-" and nothing else.
I recently assembled the mini+ kit and the wizard ends in an X-axis error. I was going to disassemble the whole X-axis assembly but when I loosened the screws that hold the X-axis belt tensioner bolts that help keep the two rods in the plastic part and accidentally tested the X-axis again the test succeeded. Then I tried fastening the bolts again and the calibration started to fail until I loosened them.
So the screws on the left picture are open and the calibration succeeds and when they're fastened it fails.
Does someone have a clue if having the two screws loose is a problem or not? And if it is then how should I fix it and what's the cause? Even when the X-axis calibration failed
I have a sheet that contains an id-number and I want to make a "description" column for the id. I have other sheets that act as a database or a catalogue which contains the id number and it's corresponding description.
As a rough example: let's say I have cells called "Potato" and "Tomato" and both have a type "id", 001 and 002 respectively. I want to make a descriptive column that tells me that: 001 is a Root Vegetable and 002 is a Fruit and I want it to update automatically (from another sheet that contains these id's and their descriptions) the type whenever I add more produce to the sheet (or an id for the produce to be exact). In this scenario Fruits
