Played ultimate and SF in the past and I’m trying to get into melee (played a little bit but not super seriously)

Preferably I want a character who:

Is amazing at edgeguarding and has a lot options out of shield

Great defensively and has a lot of defensive tools overall

Still relatively good offensively, and mostly thrives in the mid and close range with a good grab game

Decent survivability and recovery

Don’t rly care about the combo game too much as long as it’s not totally non existent

Also not too concerned about advanced techniques either way

Projectiles and long range zoning also isn't rly my type of game

Framewise I'd prefer a taller middleweight, though if they have to be li

I find myself struggling between these two cognitive functions the most so just wanted to get a gauge on it
