Hi all! It appears that I can no longer receive free map updates from Garmin for my vehicle. Does anyone out here know how I can get the latest one for less than the seventy-five that Garmin wants for it? Thanks in advance.

Hi. I live in Brookline MA. Big college town. There was an Xfinity booth set up in the center of town soliciting incoming students to join Xfinity with a $50 for 1 GB internet guaranteed for 5 years.

I walked over to chat with them. I told them I’ve been a customer for a few years now. He said outright that these offers are usually for students and new customers, but he could get that deal for me and save me about $80 / month on my bill for 5 years. I even have a screenshot of the offer confirming this. I also have the Xfinity flyer they gave me (with his name and direct cell number) which says ‘Student Exclusive’ but he said they’re offering it to current customers to retain them.

Anyone know the origin of the large safety pin embedded in concrete on the brick walkway in front of 20 Webster Street (the condo building)? It's right next to the emergency generator.

Should I be able to receive calls to my iPhone on my Galaxy Watch 8 using this software? I've got everything set up on both devices, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to see on the watch side of the house. I was hoping to be able to wear the watch and have it ring when I get a call (like my Apple watch does), but it doesn't appear to work. The Galaxy Watch IS cellular enabled, but it's not currently set up on a data plan as that's what I was trying to avoid. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Starting last night the picture began to break up and the sound was breaking up on the TV attached to my main cable box. Everything on the 2nd box was perfectly fine.

I performed troubleshooting on my devices and everything came up OK.

I then power cycled the box for 30 seconds and everything was fine again. Until now…

The static and sound issues are back.

I’m suspecting a bad cable box that I’d just like to take in and swap out for a new one.

I’m paying for these boxes and I expect 100% reliable service.

What say you?

Thanks.

Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a 4 oz. weight bolt for a PureX cue? I think the top weight is 3.5 oz., but I'd really like another .5 oz. Thanks in advance.

New Packages?

New Post - Billing

Hello!

I saw this post on another subreddit:

You are correct. While internet pricing varies for new and existing accounts the new TV packaging is the same for all customers. New packages for TV include the 1st box free and broadcast fee and regional sports fees are no longer additional for all customers. These packages can be added on to whatever internet plan you have or purchased on their own. New packages are as follows:

TV Core - $65/mo Sports and News - $90/mo World Soccer Ticket - $95/mo TV Plus - $105/mo TV Premium - $135/mo

All plans give an additional $10/mo off multi product discount when bundled with internet. 1 free box. Additional boxes are $14/mo each. Local and government

I have the above vehicle (AWD), with about 42K on it. Live in the Boston area. Had is just under 5 years now. Time for tires after the winter. Currently running the Continental CrossContact that came on the car. Not thrilled with the snow performance, and I think they are quite noisy. I've seen a LOT of postings in this subreddit with all kinds of recommendations that are all over the place. If anyone has this specific vehicle and can recommend a solid all-season tire that's good in dry, wet, and snow (you see I don't drive an excessive amount) AND is quieter than the Conti's I have now, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I've almost had it with Outlook for Mac recently. At least once every week or two I'm unable to retrieve my emails and just have to wait until they magically appear again. It always works fine on a web browser (I unfortunately have a verizon.net email address so I'm using AOL's email servers), but I don't have access to my folders there. I'm looking to possibly move to a new email client, perhaps Thunderbird (unless anyone has better suggestions), but it appears that copying all of my folders from Outlook to a new client is not as easy at it might seem (or should be anyway). Any thoughts or suggestions or proven methodologies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in

Hi all! I'm looking for a 'good' (reliable) Outlook for Mac email client alternative. As I'm sure you all know, there have been a myriad of issues over the past few months with Outlook, and I really can't deal with it anymore. I know there are good email clients like Thunderbird and maybe even Apple Mail. However, I would also need to know how to copy over ALL of my current emails, most of which are in a LOT of folders under 'Mail Import' in Outlook. I have the Olminator app which might be helpful, but I'm just not sure about all the ramifications and possible drawbacks in attempting to do this. I've been using Outlook for Mac for many years, but it's just getting too frustrating. Jus
