Any more information on this? All I can bring up is a few reports of one in Bleak Inlet, but I'm currently facing one down in TWM too. It's at the bottom of the first rope climb on the west side up to the summit, the one that's part of a series that's missing a rope that you need to place on the way down. You can hear him and occasionally see that he's stuck under the ice, his head poked out once or twice. Any advice on getting him unstuck? Super lame to luck out with a moose this early and have him possibly be unkillable :(

Hey! Would love to make some long term friends for these games, on RS3 I'm interested in all bossing (but not skilling) and especially looking for people to do the upcoming group boss with. I don't mind going at it with a less than optimal group size if we need to! I'm maxed on combat, mostly maxed gear (magic), and I do like to put effort in but no elitist vibes please, and I don't mind if you're less experienced and looking to get into the endgame stuff. Maybe we could do some Raksha (probably my most frequent boss) or something before the new boss comes out on Monday!

For OSRS, I'm also interested in bossing, but my account isn't really there for it yet, only like maybe 80 combat or so.

My plan is pretty much to keep working with the Nords, currently as a mercenary, soon as a vassal, and eventually rebel and take them over. I've been working on relation with all the "good" lords and gaining honor for that same purpose too. When the time comes to rebel, can lords I have high relation with within the Nords join me immediately? Do I convince them before taking the fief and rebelling? Does marrying one of their daughter's change anything for this?

I also plan to fight only with Nord troops - will the morale penalty for fighting other Nords be bearable after rebelling? Anything else I should consider? I already have 48 RTR, and have also been working on village relations for re

I usually run the 10 companion party (with Alayen, Artimenner, Baheshtur, Borcha, Bunduk, Katrin, Matheld, Nizar, Rolf, Ymira), which has 1 like and dislike each (except 2 are neutral) to balance them out so they don't leave. My question is, for the disputes from those characters - is it best for their morale to take sides, or just tell them to shut up? I figure taking a side must lower the morale of the person you sided against, but idk. There are a few posts that talk about this party composition, but none mentioned this issue which I found surprising, since having 10 companions is not 100% stable (some can leave if you are losing battles or otherwise lowering morale, for example).

Are you supposed to lose lots of your XP from level drain? On my first real playthrough of BG2 and killed the shadow dragon, but Jan was level drained, so I restored him at a temple. Comparing to a save right before the fight, he lost 60k total XP (30k from each of his classes) which is ridiculous. I was already annoyed by getting constantly waylaid with my half dead party while trying to revive the others, I guess I'm just going back to before the fight and accepting the lost progress, but wondering if this is a bug or how the level drain here is supposed to work? Will this happen any time level drain gets applied?

Anyone done or seen some testing on fishing bait? The wiki claims it gives +50% to both min and max weight, but I'm highly skeptical so far. For example, lake whitefish have a min weight of 1.5 kg and max of 2.3 kg. Without fishing bait as expected I get a lot of fish in the middle of the range, honestly feels weighted to the lower side. With the bait, most of the fish are coming out VERY close to 2.3 kg, and I don't think I've seen a single fish over. If it was really getting +50% to both ends you would expect most fish to be over the max without bait. I'm suspecting it only adds to the minimum weight and the wiki is just wrong, but would love to see if anyone can confirm you can catch abov

I'm not too experienced with tip up fishing yet, and I'm doing the active method of having 6 tip-ups (1 is inside a fishing hut, 5 right outside the door tightly spaced together) that I'm actively managing and baiting. It's going fairly well, but I'm having lots of line snaps when the tip up pops and I clear the 15-20% or less ice to grab the fish and reset it. Just a guess but maybe like 1/5 or so are saying line snapped. Is this a pretty normal rate for this "failure" to happen? Was surprised I couldn't find much info about this.

New moose spawn in Milton

SPOILERS Survival

Anyone confirmed a moose spawn at Grey Mother's over here? I saw there are rubbings out back but can't find any reports of it actually spawning, and a video about the spawns said they never saw the actual moose either. Wondering if it will be a waste of time to camp here and try to find it.

Weak ice

Glitch/Issue

Just for anyone who is relying on info from the wiki, it claims weak ice works on a 5s timer (6s with crampons), however trying to cross ice in the Muskeg I am falling in reliably after about 3s (not using a timer, but it's WAY faster than 6s, can't even cross small patches). Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or has always been or whatever, but hopefully it helps someone. Also, only my lower body clothes are wet (pants, socks, etc), and nothing from the upper body, which I don't remember seeing before, but it's been forever since I fell through any ice so I wouldn't remember.

Can't find any info about this, but do smoke bombs block the hook action completely? This was my experience earlier, where someone dropped a bomb on the survivor I was hooking, and the hook was like 70% visible through the smoke (sticking out of the side of it), yet standing in front of I could not hook, and just had to kind of stare at it until they wiggled out at that point. I feel like when I've tried to use smoke bombs in a similar way on survivor it they just hooked them no problem, but the prompt was entirely missing for me.

Basically title, I'm familiar with the effects on quality of items and the effects of biome on loot stage, but I'm basically wondering if higher loot stage will give you more ammo, materials, etc, or if the exact same POI in a higher tier biome (i.e. grover high in wasteland/snow vs pine forest) will give more items in higher quanities than the lower tier for any other reason.

Pretty much wondering if once you have your main quality 6 gear if there's much benefit to looting in those biomes, other than XP of course. Without a quantity buff I feel like it could even be considered a penalty once you're geared since you'll consume a lot more ammo etc.

Anyone do any testing on this, or maybe h

Everyone keeps talking this armor up, but I haven't managed to gain a single double point out of it yet in some 50-100 skill books. I'm using T2, so 10% chance apparently. Starting to feel like a chump swapping the armor out and checking my skill points before and after every single time.

What does it look like when you get a double point anyway, does it notify you so you don't have to check to see if it procced?

So I'm planning on picking up Voghiln in SoD, which will be my first time using a bard. So a couple questions:

  1. Does Skald bard song still get the luck bonus from the base kit or do the THAC0/damage/AC bonuses replace that? Does it still get the fear/morale bonuses?

  2. Is there anything they can do while singing that doesn't cancel the song?

Playing on a dedicated server with a couple friends, and I'm wondering if we need to be clearing the camps if we want good thralls to spawn? I've been doing it so far, but I can't find any info on it and I'm not sure if I'm wasting my time.
