I'm having trouble figuring out where the public EV chargers are on Jeju before I go. There appears to be advice out on the internet, but some of it is outdated and some sites no longer work.

I could rely on fuel, but I was reading that EVs chargers are everywhere.
I plan on driving around the island, probably twice during my stay. (Airport to South, South to East, South to North, North to West representing 4 different days).

Being a meticulous traveler, I am measuring the driving times between destinations and adding a 30 minute charging stop if needed to the map.
I have tried Naver, Kakaomap, Google maps and not coming up with anything reliable (or chargers are not "everywhere"

I am on day 4 with this phone and 2 days in, I realized that there is no haptic feedback.

The gboard has no vibration. Putting the phone in Vibrate mode is the same as Silent mode. Games that use vibration effects don't vibrate.

It DOES vibrate when powering on.

I can feel haptics with an app called Tremor (but it is the same feeling regardless of the button). Other haptic testing apps don't work.

Looking online, I am not alone and I have done a lot of troubleshooting myself and with support chat.

OHaptics are on (and off, and rebooted so many times.). All the vibration settings are at max in the OS and in gboard settings.

Oxygen16 with June 2026 update is installed.

I started a new city after economy 2.0. making this post again since older threads may be outdated.

Population 220,000. City Level 17. Vanilla.

The demand for all housing and commercial is gone. Only industrial and office demand remains, and that is weak. I guess I could put more down.

Lowered taxes to 7% with little change. Happiness is pretty high (but room to grow)

If I leave it running for an hour, low density demand increases, but this is quickly fulfilled. Did I win the game?

Is there anything else I can do to increase demand or wait for a new patch? Or just let the game run idle for a few hours?

I am trying to figure out what this material is. Crows have decided to peck and pull up the filling material, probably looking for a snack. Looking online for concrete gap filler, I see mostly caulk and silicone and other synthetic materials.

This resembles something more organic. It is spongy. Like soft particle board, wet cardboard or compressed moss. If I wanted to replace the gap filler, what would I look for?

It divides the driveway and garage door, and is also between concrete and the property line fence.

Today while charging at the EA station, of course the charger failed upon connecting. It wouldn't release the cable, so I popped the trunk and pulled the charger release...and the whole damned cable ripped from the wall and then didn't release the cable.

Thank the internet for the teaching me about the 3x UNLOCK button on the key fob trick. That worked, but the damage was done.

Anything I can do to put the cable back where it belongs? I think I may have only broken a plastic clip, but not sure.

P.S., Electrify America is trash. Only 2 of the 10 chargers were working, with 1 idle Ford Lightning hogging the good spot.

Recently, the thermostat has set itself 4 degrees cooler than I usually have it set. This has only happened twice, and I'm not sure why, so I went on an investigation.
I usually have the AC set to 78 (This is fine for this house!) At exactly 6pm, I noticed it was a little chilly and the blower has been running a long time. It was set to 74, and I manually set it back to 78.

Both times happened at 6pm.

After downloading my data, both with ecobee and beestat, there are 2 "events": Itronpc and Itronsb.
Google is failing me though. I have no idea what these are.

I like this car, but it has been less than reliable on the inside. Less than 700 miles and I notice frequent issues. Software v3.1

  • Ambient lighting no longer turns on when driving. It is on when getting into and out of the car. This used to be always on.

  • The drivers side reading light keeps coming on for no reason.

  • Climate control didn't start one time and was a very warm ride. Couldn't get it to turn on either until getting out and locking the doors and getting back in.

  • Voice control randomly stopped working.

  • The seat positions seem to be different every time, or the car is gaslighting me.

Putting this out there for either solutions or VW to read.

Since I upgraded my timer box, my water bill has been going up, rather than down in a very wet winter. It was old, no wifi, no rain delay. I want to control the water with my phone.

Normally I water 3 times a week, 2-5 minutes per zone in the winter. This accounts for about 60 gallons.
Twice a day every day in the heat of summer for 2-5 minutes.

Today I looked at my water usage showing 1000 gallons used between 5am and 6am. I tracked this down to the "smart watering" days on the calendar. I see by default, it was watering every zone for 30 minutes!!! Why? Who waters for that long?

I found the advanced settings and moved the slider over and could drop it down to 15 minutes minimu

Last spring, I got some King Tut papyrus and put it in a big pot. It's beautiful, needs watering often. But I have no idea what I'm doing.

When the stalk died, I usually just cut it off at the base. The problem is, I now have a bunch of stumps, and the roots are getting huge enough to crack the pots. New stalks are skinny and not thick, because I think the stumps are constricting them.

What should I do for the next year to have nice big stalks? Repot them? Chop the roots up and replant it?

I am trying to add a narrow table to a Lifespan treadmill. (DT3/1200)

It should hold a laptop, mouse and ideally the treadmill controller.

Unfortunately, most standing desks are criminally expensive, too wide 30-32 inches is great. The problem is the legs. No one makes legs wide enough to go over the treadmill without having a 48 wide table.

I got a Global Industrial brand tilting laptop tray that has a U shaped base that ALMOST works to wrap around the front of the treadmill, it is about half an inch too narrow. SO CLOSE! Turning the table 90 degrees is too unstable in either direction.

What are some DIY solutions? A flat plate would work to slide under the treadmill. Buildi

After taking a shower, the floors and walls make bumping sounds every few minutes for about 30 minutes, and I don't know why.

Is it just the house creaking with the temperature difference after running hot water? Is it the hot water pipe cooling down? I don't notice this behavior when using the sink, but I'm also not using a ton of hot water from the sink like I am the shower. I am on the 2nd floor.

I don't THINK there is a broken drain, I think I would have seen water damage and smells by now. It has been doing this for about 2 years.

It is loud enough that I thought someone was throwing a tennis ball against the house, and weird enough for me to post about it.

I have a full size treadmill with no arms. I have been looking for something to put a laptop on and doesn't take up a ton of room.

The treadmill is about 30.5 inches wide in the front and I think 32 inches between the legs would fit nicely.

I don't need the desk to be much larger than the legs. 36 inches wide or smaller is perfect. I was also thinking about something like a hospital tray that swivels over and the legs/stand can just sit on the side of the treadmill. (Many trays have legs meant to go under a bed, which won't work here.)

Any products that can be recommended?
