Put simply, Chekov's Gun is a principle in storytelling that if you feature a gun prominently in a story it will inevitably go off by the end of the story, otherwise the gun was superfluous/unnecessary.

In episode 2 when Joe is given the tour of their new base the camera stops to show that the toilets have no stalls. In episode 3 they show the toilets again when the new Lioness is checking out the latrines for the first time, then there's at least one more shot of the toilets the morning after when she tries to sneak in a shower while everyone is on their run.

Finally the toilets are put to use when Two Cups rips ass in front of Bobby. Chekov's Toilet.

Last week my team killed Caretaker in 2 floors but missed the high score triumph despite being well under time so I did some digging, I watched a bunch of streams and recorded the scores and times in a chart. Here's what I found:

• the high score triumphs completed for scores of at least 500,000
• the points rewarded for the platinum time does not remain constant through the whole encounter
• the bonus score starts at roughly 450,000 and decays as the timer ticks down
• the minimum bonus score rewarded at 0:01.00 on the timer is roughly 303,000

This season's artifact includes a mod called "Thermoshock Plating" which acts as both arc & solar resist for the cost of 2 energy. Master GoA drops armour that has a special "Artifice Slot" which allows slotting an additional artifact mod. I wanted to see if I could use these two things in combination to stack 3 chest resist mods for increased DR.

As you can see from the results, you can in fact get increased DR from having 3 resist mods, however you cannot stack 3 resist mods of the same element (the game will ignore the third).

TL;DR: Not by itself but 1 sniper resist at any resilience will let you survive

A couple weeks ago I posted a thread testing whether or not T7 resilience would let you survive a vandal snipe in a GM. In the post I mentioned that although you could survive a vandal snipe, higher tier enemies like bosses and champions could potentially still one shot you and I still needed to test that.

Well this week's GM, the Inverted Spire, features 2 barrier hobgloblin snipers in one of the beginning areas and was the perfect place to test. (*Edit:forgot to mention the modifiers are increased

TL;DR: vandals sniper shots will kill you at less than 5 resilience if running no resist mods.

I’ve seen it mentioned by redditors on r/DTG that T7 resilience will help you survive a sniper shot in Grandmasters. I haven’t seen any testing to prove this so with the launch of GMs for the season I set out to test it myself.

With the new exotic quest out, one of the triumphs is "complete the mission on master difficulty." In bungie talk this usually means it has champions + match game and we have yet to see scorn champions.

This would open the door to Hallowed Lair potentially being a nightfall and worse yet, a grandmaster. Mention the strike Hallowed Lair at all in DTG and most of the responses are usually "I instantly go to orbit when that strike launches.

IMO scorn as a race are one of the least fun in the game to fight and Hallow Lair is definitely one of the worst strikes to run. So Bungie I beg of you, just pump the brakes on whatever it is you're thinking and don't make sc
