This is either getting a 2 or an 8 from melon

People are mad podcasts where a certain king discusses the existence of interdimensional alien cow human hybrids is not filled with good opinions

Final chapter of generic shonen that got pretty fucking good then became a generic shonen again while embracing genocide is releasing the last chapter. The last few chapters have not been great, with fans saying "next chapter will make or break the series." Freefolk with Titans has a fresh megathread of vehement seething and coping (self included)

On a scale of one to End of Eva, I think it's going to be pretty high up on the scale. I think 409 was the last triumph of the show, and this show has always been nasty and nihilistic. In the last four episodes, I think we are going to see the third do something dangerous, Whiterose's project cause a global catastrophe, Darlene and Dom dead, and not a single one of the characters will be victorious in the end, as the cost to take down Whiterose for good. I'm surprised there haven't been more posts about this on the subreddit, the fact that it's set during the holidays makes me think Sam is going full anti-Christmas special.

The show has certainly had more concept episodes in recent future, and they're all polarizing to an extent. I'd say my favorite so far was either Being Frank or Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer, even if I'm sad that Maureen Ponderosa was killed off.

While season two was one of the most divisive seasons in recent years, it basically was a massive set up for the show to add in the geopolitical elements to mesh with the cyberpunk elements. It's been full speed since season 2e10, and shows no sign of slowing down. Tonight's episode was arguably one of the best of the whole run.
