Edibles taste way too good now, and sometimes I struggle with the urge to eat more because sometimes they taste almost indistinguishable from regular snacks.

IMO beverages or food that contain things like alcohol, cannabis, or other things like psilocybin should always have some sort of underlying taste of the "spiking" ingredient so it's always clear this isn't a regular snack.

In English when you receive a compliment you feel like you didn't really earn we often say something like "oh thank you, you're too kind".

Basically I just want something else to add on instead of always saying "iya, zenzen" whenever I get jouzu'd by a Japanese person to sound appreciative.

Love locks are a disgusting waste of resources and should be treated the same as littering. Just search on google to see how insane this trend is. Railings of bridges around the world completely covered in thousands of locks and the keys thrown in the river.

Tonnes of CO2 we're dumped into the atmosphere to mine the metals used to make them, only for some self-important twats to basically throw them away for their own vanity(especially because the key gets thrown in the water).

If you leave love locks, you suck and I hope you get fin

I was recently visiting my conservative parents and the obvious topic of candidate competency came up.

My grand-father, outright and unprompted, acknowledged that Poilievre doesn't have really any outstated policies or action plans to fix the issues that he says Trudeau has caused (aside from some comments on housing and "axe the tax"). Later in the conversation he outright stated he thinks Poilievre would make a great PM and didn't elaborate on why. This was confusing because, from my POV, these two statements are irreconcilable outside of plain old bias.

-He's a career politician, despite railing against them
-Despite holding seven terms as an MP (which he's argued shouldn't be

Let me preface a little bit: I am a male of average height and build (5'11, 170) and I find pretty much all vehicle chairs to be uncomfortable(including cars) unless I recline them 20 degrees. Everything about the design feels like it's encouraging me to slouch.

I, for the life of me, cannot sleep on airplanes. They feel like they were designed to torture me specifically. Even if I recline my chair as far back as I can, if I manage to relax enough to fall asleep I end up falling forward and waking myself back up. No other position I have tried has worked.

Inevitable fart sniffing aside, these concept double decker plane seats offer way better seat position as well as way better legro
