I recently came back to making music and now i see myself faced with a dilemma.

Should i be allowed to call it "i make music" or "it is my music"...

I'm a pretty bad live player but i would say i have a hand for arranging, composing and song structure.

Because of that i mainly use vst's for guitars, bass and drums. Although i play them in on a midi keyboard i often feel like a imposter because actually someone else recorded it.

I really want to get the best sound and be as crative as is want when it comes to amp sound etc.

And when i show it to someone i often get a "well you didn't play the guitar?" or "how do you play the guitar on the keyboard?" and it makes me wonder and sent me int

I hope this is the right place to ask this.

I have no experience with racks or mounts, if they are universal or if they even fit for small amps.

The amp i'm using is the FiioK5 pro. I found 3d prints on some sites that would fit my needs but i have no printer so i tried to look into the racks.

But i don't know if that works because it has no inlets for screws which seem to be needed for rack-compatibility.

If someone could tell me if i'm looking into the right direction or has better tips i'm all ears and thankful.

Right out of the top of my head i can only list two examples:

The Hollies - Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress

The first time i heard it i thought it was from CCR

Them - It's All Over Now, Baby Blue

I thought for years that it was a song from the Stones.

I would love to hear more songs like that. Do you have any recommendations?

I signed up for my first WCA event and i only can solve the 3x3 so far.

I wanted to learn another puzzle for the event because i have 3 weeks left.

Please help me find some "easy to learn" puzzles, taking into account the number of new algs i have to learn and the understanding of the puzzle.

I don't aim for specific times since even for the 3x3 i average ~50s.

The puzzles are the following:

  1. 2x2

  2. 4x4

  3. 5x5

4: Pyraminx

  1. Megaminx

  2. Clock

Thank you <3

Hi guys,

i'm pretty new to cfop and currently learn the two-look oll and pll.

So far i really like the algs and how they feel nice when you do them.

But currenty i try to learn the Ua and Ub perm and they are giving me a hard time.

Especially the Ub beginning with R2 U R U...

So i wanted to ask if you orient the solved ede facing away from you or facing to you and you do another alg?

Thanks

Hey everyone,

i started cubing ~10 years ago with the beginners method but never took it further and somehow stopped.

Recently i came back, bought some new cubes and started learning CFOP.

Currently i'm on the 2-Look-OLL alg section and i was wondering why the alg for Antisune is not the inversed Sune (R U R' U R U2 R') alg -> L' U' L U' L' U2' L

This alg was still so deep in my muscle memory from the beginners method that i try to not replace it with the recommended alg and instead do just a U turn.

But will there be benefits if i try to learn the recommended alg? -> R U2 R' U' R U' R' Or does it all come down to preference?

Thanks everyone

I came back to cubing after about 10 years and wanted to reinstall Prisma Puzzle Timer on my PC which is by now Windows 10.

It seems to be a Java related issue which stops me from opening it.

But i can't seem to find anyone else who seem to have problems with it.

I also find very few information to Prisma Puzzle Timer anyway. Is there a new / better program by now?
