Hey all,

MAGM is a generation III ROM hacking contest focused on making a hack that consists of only a single map. If you're looking for an easygoing mapping contest, please consider joining this year!

Invitational video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL2Q45u20sY

(Note to moderators of this subreddit: tried to post this using a "link" post, however it was removed. Likely to rule #3, which doesn't actually apply.)

Hi there subreddit that I forgot even existed,

As you probably know, there's a popular theory out there called the Pokémon War, which was an alleged war that broke out between Kanto and Johto before Red began his journey. There's no ROM hack or anything based around this theory, but I think it could be a great premise for a fan game.

If I was to create a hack based on the War theory, what kind of features, theory-specific points, etc would you like to see implemented? I don't know everything there is to know about the theory, but I've done a fair amount of research. If you have any minute details that you think I should know, let me know! Again, just looking for

Seems like the only two things left to do are flesh out Kagari’s and Judy’s relationship, then create the video. Do you think episode 22 will deliver the Kagari scene, or will the anime abandon that whole arc altogether?

I get he feeling that it’ll be the main focus of 22 because of Judy’s split second appearance in episode 21.

I'm going to begin this Arnold Split for Volume (Variation 1):

In the program notes, it just say that you're supposed to train to failure on the very first set, but it doesn't say anything about the following sets.

Also, is this a linear progression routine? By that I mean to progress, am I meant to be writing down my lifts on each and every exercise then increase the weight when I successfully hit 3-4 s

I'm not sure if this is the correct subreddit for this question, so please forgive me.

I have two questions:

  1. The first month or so of StrongLifts 5x5 (I'm currently on week 1) is very easy. I understand it's to perfect form before lifting heavy, but I fear that I will end up losing some muscle definition throughout the process due to the lack of... well, lifting. People who have experience with this program, did you notice any definition loss?

  2. The program calls for a 1x5 Deadlift instead of a 5x5. It almost feels like a joke at this point. People who have experience with this program, did you think a 5x5 deadlift was possible after squats or should I just be patient to
