Hi!

I need some help wrapping my head around everything we need to gather to restore this Golf R to stock or OE equivalent parts for the manual transmission.

Quick history : we got this Golf R on a trade-in, and I was tasked with gathering the parts to fix the clutch on it. Guy who had it before apparently was super hard on the vehicle, and the clutch was failing. So, I got the quote from VW dealer, bought a clutch for it, and then was also asked to get a flywheel as well. What I chose were the SACHS parts as follows :

Flywheel : Sachs 06K-105-266-H / MFG # 2294001999

Clutch : Sachs 06K-141-015-M / MFG # K7075301

Now, after I sent the parts over to the transmission shop, they told me

So the Ocean wouldn't charge. Replaced the H4 battery, and now it's giving three errors.

"Battery System Malfunction - Service Required"

"Unexpected System Failure Detected - Contact Service Center"

"Charging System Failure - Please Remove Charger and restart vehicle"

Charger is the Autel Maxicharger, worked fine before. Now the vehicle won't engage and drive.

Thanks for any assistance or pointers.

Hi!

I have an HP Z4 G4 Xeon Workstation that has an nVME boot drive running W11 Pro with the latest updates. It's got a Xeon 2123 socket 2066 CPU and 64GB of Ram. It has two 3.5" bays for hard drive expansion.

We have a pair of new WD Red Pro 16TB SATA Hard Drives we want to mirror for a big simple volume. Given the physical characteristics of the drives, is there any relevant performance differences in using onboard SATA and Windows drive mirroring vs a PCIe 8x LSI SAS controller running the same two drives in a mirror?

I know SAS controllers absolutely give a ton of flexibility and performance potential when running more than two drives (especially those that are designed for enterpris

I LOVED this movie as a kid. I probably watched it twenty times on cable/VHS. I have no idea if it holds up, I almost completely forgot it existed. 1984 was one hell of a year for movies, so I can kind of understand this one perhaps being buried a bit.

Anyone else have fond memories of this? I remember the effects with the snake being a bit wonky even as a kid, but something eerie and creepy about it all the same.

Hi folks,

A general search was leading me in circles with all the AI-generated nonsense or unrelated threads popping into results, so I thought probably best to come ask the direct experts on the subject.

Friend has a 2011 Camaro 3,6 (LLT engine), and it's done for. He wants to get an engine replacement, nothing crazy, just restore it to running condition.

What we're seeing is that 3.6L 2010-2011 LLT motors are mostly in the mid $2000-$2500 range, with mostly 90-150k miles on them.

At the same time, we see 3.6L 2012-2015 LFX motors are much more widely available in the sub $2000 range, with usually a fair bit less miles (60-90k pretty easy to find for say $1500ish).

Does anyone kno
