Something about either the writing or recording style gives me that same eerie mysterious kind of feeling it had. Thoughts?
I live in Canada, so the LG isn't available here yet. It checks all my boxes and would be the perfect monitor, but I don't even know if/when it's coming. The Dell is close, and realistically it would probably be just fine, I just hate the gamer aesthetic. Thoughts on what you guys would do?

After spending enough time to properly evaluate the Elegia on my own equipment now, I've decided to compile and revise some of my impressions. I've posted similar thoughts in other places, and felt like I might as well put it together with a more complete opinion here. As a general preface, this evaluation takes both the default Elegia tuning and the Elegia with a bit of EQ into consideration. While I don't think it's essential to EQ it, I have found that overall my very min
I'm currently trying out the Fuji 16mm f1.4, and it's great, but I'm wondering if 24mm equivalent is too wide for b-roll and establishing shots. Should I move to a different focal distance? Material is generally b-roll for documentary style stuff (gimbal work).
I've tried cineform but I'm struggling with video playback for 10 bit or higher files once it's rendered. The QuickTime player simply won't handle it, and VLC looks choppy even on my beast of a rig with an 8700k and 1080 ti. Are there any alternatives I should look into for final delivery? Or is there a cineform player I'm not considering that can handle the 10bit output?
I ran into EP40 tonight while rounding the corner of Seymour and Smithe, and by that I mean literally almost ran into him. He sidestepped me like I was dylan Strome. I thought thank goodness I didn't accidentally hit him, but it took me a second to realize who it was. All I managed was a calm "hey Petey" and got a short nod in return. He was wearing a grey sweater and jeans, walking with a buddy who I didn't recognize? He's taller in person than he seems on the ice, and for what it's worth he seemed totally unconcussed. But to be fair I wouldn't know what to look for. Anyway, definitely the highlight of my night... And I also got laid!
I'm currently borrowing the 18-55 kit lens but I want to get either the 35mm f2 or 50mm f2 to complement the kit lens. What the kit lens doesn't do well is 50-75mm focal length at low light, but everything wider is doable with it. So with that in mind, should I get the 50mm f2 for better coverage of slight tele focal length, or 35mm f2 for better 'all around' shooting?
I didn't want to go the route of custom just yet, I'm too noob, but I still wanted to use the zealios (or something better than standard cherry MX. I'm coming from browns, so it was topre or zealios). The one downside I hear about with the code is the keycaps are average. I don't want to let the switches down with less than excellent keycaps so... What advice would you give a noob like me on high end keycaps (disregarding price)? I care about feel over looks.
