Hi I’m a huge Linux noob and I just installed Ubuntu and have no network connectivity. I kinda assumed I’d have to get drivers for my motherboards Wifi capabilities however I get no connection even with Ethernet connection. I also put the Ethernet cord through a Network cable tester and it’s good so I can rule out the possibility of that being the culprit.

I ran IWconfig in case the drivers for my wifi were installed and it mentions “no internet connection”. I also believe ifconfig is the Linux equivalent of ipconfig but when I run it asks for me to install a package for it. That wouldn’t be an issue if I had a connection lol. If someone can show me the way that would be great.

• Gaming(CSGO, Valorant, Dota 2, OW2, Elden Ring) preferably at 144hz @ 1080p. I will also run VMs on this machine, mainly virtual home servers to build my resume in IT. I will also be occasionally coding python, powershell, and some JavaScript.

I would like the build to be as upgradable as possible, I do not mind getting a overtop motherboard with a shittier GPU/CPU that I can replace. As mentioned I will be building VMs to run home servers but having a separate tower for my VMs will be ideal in the future.

I produce deep house and vocal chops are a staple of my genre. However I just can’t get it to sound right EVER. I’ve tried halftime, stutter on shaperbox. Manually cutting the the sound clips then changing them to certain notes but they just don’t sound right. This is so frustrating YouTube tutorials don’t help much either.

I don’t want an entire drop to be vocal chops but an 8 bar vocal chop would be nice once in a while but can’t even get anything past that without being completely dissatisfied with my chops. :( I just want to rant and if you can shoot tips my way I would love you forever.

I currently have a laptop with 8GB RAM and a decent processor but it’s just not cutting it when it comes to using multiple CPU intense VSTS. I used build PC’s years ago but I’m completely out of the loop when it comes to this generation of hardware.

The two I encountered from different lobbies "eXo" and "Method" were double jumping mid air with LMGs instant locking on everyone on my team & killing team. Any one else encountering this?

I've beaten the campaign and actually really liked and have only sunk in 2 hours into the multiplayer so far. If encountering hackers is common I will just uninstall the game and go back to LoL and Counter Strike. Although hackers are pretty common in my CS rank DMG :( there's third party services that eliminates them(ESEA, CEVO, etc).

Took a 6 month break from the game but people have told me lifesteal quints are bad now. What do most adcs run now a days?
