https://youtu.be/LpNVf8sczqU at 0:29, this main melody is highly similar to another guitar/keyboard solo bit from another song, though the rhythm is a tiny bit more syncopated and changes its key partway through towards the end. Folky/alternative rock type, sorta like the artist Badly Drawn Boy, maybe? Sorry if this is against the rules - any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I just started the game last night and played for 6 hours straight by the way, loving it, except that this song thing is driving me crazy.

I’m thinking of putting together a guide video demonstration showing the differences in AI sound cues that reflect their agitation state. For example, was that horse noise the “default” horse noise or was it actually disturbed/killed by a nearby hunter? I would try to collect examples of every AI for this video.

Does this already exist? Or would there be interest if I shared it here? I would otherwise only share it with my teammates so that we will have a leg up on ya’ll 🤠

I just found this sub from a link back in the main subreddit and figured we could get some gameplay discussion going. I’m relatively low-mid hours (~400hr) and maybe a high 4star but I’m still learning new things about the lesser known mechanics that aren’t really spelled out anywhere in the game.

  1. Your ability to self-revive as a solo can be blocked (Revive button looks greyed out) if you die in a poison cloud (bolt-thrower poison ammo lasts like 60s+, poison bombs last like 5min+). This can be countered if you took an antidote shot before you died. Poison and fire can coexist in the same spot, so if they start burning your body then you are doomed to lose your bars or burn out entirely.

Like I just got offered the Meat Camp, the Forager Camp, and the Herbalist Camp. Should I be staring at the Available Resources and trying to figure out which might offer the most options? Or should I break open glades and try to find something?

I’m growing HEK cells in a big T175 flask (boxy, 175cm^2 area) and after 2 days of culture I see a big difference in the confluency in cells at the front near the flask mouth (~90% confluent) vs further away from the mouth (steadily decreasing down to ~10% at the back of the flask).

Is this normal? When I first seed them I do make sure to rock the media back/forth, left/right, and I even checked with a bubble level to make sure the incubator platform is evenly level. Otherwise I’d have to guess that there’s better gas exchange at the front of the flask near the mouth & lid. It’s hard to know when to start an experiment if my cells are simultaneously 10% and 90% confluent at the same time.

I have 5000 hours in TF2 and probably 600+ in Pyro, but I realized that I don’t know if I actively do [title] or not. It seems like it should be a good idea, but I think I’m usually more concerned with slightly leading the flame particles into where the enemy will be, so that they’ll do maximum damage. This face-flaming seems like it should be most effective against a hitscan class like Heavy or Scout, since I’m more concerned with timing reflections vs Demo/Soldier.

It’s almost never actually a matter of just coming straight on w+M1 style and flaming at them, I’m usually strafing and looking for a fallback wall to get behind once I’m targeted. To be honest, I’m not even sure if the fl

I bought the game last week and been having an absolute blast (but like, a chill, mellow blast). I’m playing totally blind and trying to read no guides (or at least as few as possible). I’ve just finished a bridge across a river so I can cart ores across, but had questions about construction.

First, basic question: when I highlight a piece with the hammer equipped, is the color basically describing how much stress that piece is under? If it gets very red, I can watch it deconstruct, but if I add more supports it goes green. Is that an accurate description of what’s happening?

Second: I noticed sometimes pieces get damaged and reduced to ~50% health, and require repair. Is this because the
