What do you guys think of this?

When Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted on Tuesday night that the SEC threatened to sue if the company launches its high-yield Lend product, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse was swift to respond. Just 90 minutes after Armstrong's tweet, Garlinghouse tweeted a meme from "Die Hard" with Bruce Willis saying, "Welcome to the party, pal."

The implied message: Ripple has been fighting the SEC for over a year, and now Coinbase is part of the fight, like it or not. Mark Cuban also had a message for Armstrong: "You have to go on the offensive." Cuban declined to expand for Decrypt on what that might look like ("It's up to them"), but one can argue Armst

Just some general research on Polygon (MATIC)

Disclaimer: I don't own any Polygon as of writing this.

General

  • Consensus: POS
  • Circulating supply: 6,652,300,637
  • Max supply: 10,000,000,000

What is Polygon?

Polygon is an Ethereum sidechain, a protocol, and a framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. It aims to make it easier for Ethereum-based applications to work with other blockchain platforms and make distinct blockchains able to easily exchange information and value.

The Polygon platform aims to build “Ethereum’s internet of blockchains’’, the

Might do some more of these, just general research into a project

Disclaimer: I currently don't hold any Harmony, I have in the past.

What is Harmony?

Harmony is a cross-chain blockchain, cross-chain means that it is the bridge between different blockchains. Beside bridging a big Harmony application is NFTs & DApps. Harmony's mainnet can run ETH DApps with 2s transaction speed and cost a fraction of the gas fees.

Why cross-chain?

You might wonder why we need a cross-chain blockchain, seems

Hey everyone

I'm thinking of all the use cases of crypto adoption and I'm wondering which sector will really thrive the most in terms of use cases & adoption.

I personally think these 4 sectors are going to be big in crypto (in no particular order)

  • DeFi(duh) - ETH, ADA, SOL, XLM, Celo, etc.
  • Supply chain - VET, TRAC, etc.
  • Institutional Finance(upgrading legacy systems, etc.) - XRP, XDC, XLM even
  • Data Oracles - LINK, API3, BOND, MARSH, etc.

What sectors do you guys think will grow big & what crypto's do you think will frontrun that sector?

Came across this a week ago and I'm surprised that this coin isn't as spoken about as XLM & XRP.

I think CoinGecko summed up XDC better than I ever can so here's their description:

XDC Network is an enterprise-ready hybrid Blockchain technology company optimized for international trade and finance. The XDC Network is powered by the native coin called XDC. The XDC protocol is architected to support smart contracts, 2000TPS, 2seconds transaction time, KYC to Masternodes (Validator Nodes). The XDC Chain (XinFin Digital Contract) uses XinFin Delegated Proof of Stake (XDPoS), with the intending to create a ‘highly-scalable, secure, permission, and commercial grade’ blockchain network.

During the lead up of the 2008 financial crisis employees of Wells Fargo would target lower middle class african americans & hispanics to make them sign contracts for bogus mortgages. Telling them they'd "save some money". In emails Wells Fargo employees called these people "mud people".

This is why we need DeFi and community run financial systems. These systems are inclusive to everyone and anyone and do not discriminate like the traditional finance industry has done over and over again.
