I bought a used NVR that appears to be in very good shape. It boots up and the firmware is updated to newest version and has V3 N2MB02 Hardware configuration. I also formatted the hard drive. I have set up a super admin account.
I previously (and currently) have three cameras set up on POE injector and can see all through the App with no issues. I then connected the cameras ethernet cables directly to the back of the NVR and they show up in the list to choose from when I check Add Camera. I enter the password and it attempts to log in and then says “connection failed”. I have tried doing reset on the cameras via the Poe injector and then plugging into the NVR and it still will not connect
Regarding the RP-PN8 and RP-PN16 Professional NVRs…..the compare feature button indicates 12 and 24 max cameras respectively (8 wired and 16 wired). My question is the description is different on the professional series in that for the additional cameras is says IP cameras vs the regular series NVR which say WiFi cameras. Is there a difference and does this mean a POE cam connected to the network with a POE injector switch would record to the NVR in addition to 8 or 16 POE cams powered by direct connection to the NVR? I’m going to end up with 10-11 cams but 3 will be in/on a detached garage connected to the main network through a switch via Ethernet cable. If I can get away with a 8 channe
My current setup crashed out when my AX55Pro completely went dark. It won’t factory reset and is not broadcasting any WiFi signal so that I can log into it. I was using the AX55Pro as an access point with same network name upstairs via a wired ethernet connection off my main router in the basement which is a AXE95. Unfortunately the AXE95 still does not support EasyMesh and they are too far apart for OneMesh. This worked but wasn’t great as devices would sometimes bounce between the two routers if you were on the first floor or there was a connection delay when you went to the basement or the second floor.
So now I’m considering replacing the entire system with a Deco Mesh syste
I am from the USA. When I am on the App it usually shows an American flag next to my team name. Sometimes on the App (I think) and always on FPL Website there is a Zimbabwe flag next to my name. Additionally, the Zimbabwe league shows up in my “General Leagues” on both the App and website. I’m about 550 in the Zimbabwe league so at least I’m doing well somewhere! When I dig into my “My FPL” account settings it clearly shows I’m from USA and displays the American Flag. Obviously at some point I did something to indicate that I’m from Zimbabwe but I can’t figure out what or how to change it? Anyone have any ideas?
I have a POE doorbell with a 256 GB SD card. It’s been in operation for a little over 18 months. When I first installed the doorbell it would retain about 2-3 days of 24/7 recording. Currently it only holds about 9 hours. I have noticed it slowly decreasing over time but I assumed it was due to various changes in firmware and auto changes to HDR or other settings that potentially took up more storage space. But I feel like I read that the new firmware has better storage algorithms allowing for longer periods to be retained. I messed around with Reolink’s storage calculator and it seems something is definitely not right as I should get at least 2-3 days. Now I’m starting to wonder if the car
Fairly new to this so sorry if this a basic question. I am in the install/testing/planning phase of my camera setup. I bought a couple different cameras so I could temporarily install and move around to test field of view, zoom, existing light availability for night mode and exact physical placement to run the cabling to the right spots before closing in/finishing up various sections of an new house.
Making good progress with that but I’m trying to sort out the capabilities of the NVRs. I have a detached garage that currently has cat 6 network connection. If I have 3-4 cameras on/in the garage connected to a POE injector/switch will the Reolink NVRs be able to access them and record/contro
I have an Archer AX95 in my basement that is directly connected to the cable modem. I have Ethernet cable ran to the upstairs in my house where I have an Archer AX55 Pro that only works as an access point with a different Network name.
In my misunderstanding of OneMesh I thought I could use both routers as a mesh system with ethernet backhaul but couldn’t get it to work. Since that didn’t work I jumped the gun and bought an RX715x extender because I misread the site and when it didn’t work with ethernet backhaul I read closer and figured out OneMesh only does wireless mesh (no ethernet backhaul) and the location is too far away for wireless mesh to work properly.
Last night I was in my basement mechanical room of my relatively new construction house in a rare moment that the HVaC and heat pump water heater were not running. I could hear what I initially thought was low flow water running through the water supply line and just assumed that it was a toilet filling up after a flush but then it kept going.
After verifying that no water was running in the entire house I then closed the quarter turn ball valve on the 1-1/8” incoming copper line and the sound continued. Then I went out to the water meter that’s under a manhole in the front yard and watched the meter and water was slowly flowing through the meter. I then closed the valve going from the me
TL/DR: will a 4K camera with 5x optical zoom capture license plates at 30m/100ft?
I am in the process of purchasing and setting up a security camera system on a new construction home that will use POE cameras and a NVR. During construction I thought far enough ahead to run Cat 6 Ethernet cables to every conceivable location I could think of at the time and in many locations such as the corners I ran two or more depending on the location. I even ran Ethernet to the doorbell location in hopes that future doorbell cameras would hit the market which they now have.
I have enough other camera locations to cover the whole lot which will likely be CX410s so I can dedicate a camera just to capturi
Probably a silly question but I can’t make it work correctly in my head!
Batter hits a somewhat low height popfly that drops in the gap between pitchers mound and second and no player had a legitimate chance to catch it so no obvious error. Ball was picked up and thrown to first where batter was called out (they didn’t run very hard). If I select Popfly the only out I can assign to batter is “pop out” or “pop out foul” which is not accurate. If I go pop-fly, single and then drag runner on first (batter) out on last play it works to show it was a popfly but gives the batter the hit in the stats which obviously isn’t right. Ultimately I scored it as a ground ball with a put out at first whi
I’m the primary score keeper for my kids team 9U. I have put in some decent time getting to understand how to run GameChanger and think I do a decent job. I can definitely say my performance exceeds my paycheck! When I was first learning I would notice that the head coach would sometimes edit/rescore a game. Didn’t think much of it because I was learning and certainly wasn’t perfect at it. Eventually I began to see a pattern of him only editing it when his kid pitched. After watching for a while I was starting to get the feeling that he was making changes to improve his kids pitching stats. It took me a bit but I finally watched close enough and took enough screen shots and rewatched enoug
Situation is: Bases loaded, 2 outs and batter hits ground ball in play to SS who tags second base for the out.
When I choose ground ball, fielders choice and select shortstop as the fielder that made the play and click done the App first asks if runner crossing home is safe or out (it’s only option to choose). If I choose safe at home it then gives option to select safe or out for runners to both 2nd and 3rd. If I select out at 2nd it ends the inning as it should. The problem is that it scores the run that came across home plate which I thought should not count because it was a force out. In order to make it work I had to mark the batter out at first which is obviously not accurate for f
