Last week I took my Mother-in-Law’s jeep to get an alignment and a rotation/balance. When I went to pick it up they left a note to replace the lug nuts “ASAP” I went ahead and ordered some and got it done but the existing lug nuts were stripped pretty bad. My father-in-law was complaining to me that Discount Tire probably messed it up but I just brushed him off. I heard that the FCA stock lug nuts can get shitty over time, but I did find it odd that they would have reinstalled them when they were pretty bad. They didn’t call me and/or ask me if I wanted to pay to replace them and I most likely would have let them. Isn’t it standard practice to try to replace them?

My mom just bought a new Ridgeline and I think it’s going to be the perfect truck for her, but she was a little worried about extending the warranty. The finance person must have spooked her and she was wanting to buy extended coverage specifically for electrical issues. My dad didn’t cave but my mom wants to go back and purchase it separately for like $3k from the dealership. Can anyone recommend a warranty coverage that may be available that would cover this for Honda?

I have the famous 3rd gen Tundra with the engine issues and everyone always recommends to reach out to a specific person (can’t recall his name or dealership). Is there anyone like that?

Has anyone else had trouble with Toyota Brand Engagement in which they provide no assistance and close claims without even informing you?

I have a 3rd gen Tundra that I’ve been trying to get a TSB done for the brakes since November of last year. The dealer can’t provide me an ETA claiming they only receive one set of parts per order. I reached out to Toyota Brand Engagement to help with getting an ETA but they only tell me that someone will contact me from the dealer and they never do. I’ve reached out to them multiple times and only one time I had some assistance where they could at least confirm that a warranty claim was submitted.

I just recently checked and my claim was closed by Toy

Earlier this year, my wife and I purchased a vehicle from a reputable dealership. A month or so later my sister-in-law was interested in a new car and went to the same dealership to look at a car herself. She worked with a different salesperson and finance manager than us, but she did bring up that we had purchased from the same dealership not to long ago. My sister in law mentioned that she was looking for monthly payments similar to what my wife and I were able to get, so the finance manager pulled up our sale and discussed details. He told her our credit score was higher than hers and was more established. I didn’t want her to know that and felt like he was guiding her to ask us to co-sig

A little over a month ago, my wife and I purchased a vehicle from Lexus. This intrigued my sister in law to look into a vehicle for herself at the same dealership. She was looking for a payment similar to what we got even though we had gotten a used RX and she was looking at a new NX, but some quick math on her trade in meant she was going to be financing about the same amount as we did. When she went into financing and explained what she was looking for in a monthly payment, the person dealing with her pulled out my sale and explained to her that we had gotten a used vehicle and had a trade in that had equity. he also mentioned our credit score and told her that we had a better credit score

I was considering upgrading my wife’s phone but wasn’t quite ready to shift to the 15 since they have a new charging cable. Online the 14 pro is no longer available, are they not sold in store anymore as well? If I were to go into a store and ask would there be any chance they have some in stock?

So Rheumatologist prescribed me Cosentyx for my psoriasis. I thought I was experiencing psoriatic arthritis and my doctor believes I may have been but the X-rays didn’t show any degeneration of the joints. But I’m in the loading dosage and I have seen such a vast improvement in my skin and I feel so much better. Unfortunately, my insurance has denied my prescription. What are my options? Should I get with my doctor or do I have to work with the insurance? Any advice? I don’t want to quit, I haven’t felt this good in a long time.

I was attempting to replace a water valve on my front load whirlpool washer when I got sprayed by the water hose. My shut off valve doesn’t seem to work so when I disconnected the hose from the valve I got sprayed and some of the internal components got wet. I ended up running to turn off the water from my main shut off outside to limit any damage. The washer was unplugged the whole time and I did my best to dry the components using an electric leaf blower. Is there anything else I can do? I can see a couple of drops at the bottom of the washer but the control board and other circuits don’t look wet.

I’m wondering if I tint the sunroof in my wife’s 2017 Acura RDX with ceramic tint if that will help with keeping the car cool in the Texas Summer. I have ceramic tint all around except the front windshield and the sunroof. The sunroof is hardly ever used and is always covered.

Looking to get a new car stereo receiver installed as well as a backup camera. Any recommendations where I should go look? Best Buy wasn’t much help. It’s a Jeep Wrangler Jk.
