Branching off of the "Nosedive" episode of people rating each other 5 stars - I'd be curious to see this idea explored further. Particularly, if the rating had more behind it, like the user reviews that Yelp has. Imagine being a woman on a first date with a man, and she goes into the bathroom to "freshen up", but instead she quickly scans the guy's reviews and notices words in reviews from past roommates and coworkers like "controlling" and "brash" and "future abusive husband". The protagonist might be a man with a frat-boy past that he's matured out of, but can't escape because the permanent online reviews label him in a negative light.

Was just thinking about how enough bad Yelp reviews c

I believe the "gun debate" shouldn't consistently begin and end within a short time frame between each news-worthy mass shooting - it's still an ongoing issue.

I've asked the question about how to prevent mass shootings on this sub before closer to when the Vegas shooting happened. I appreciated the respectful answers from that, and my biggest takeaway was that we need to increase availability and encouragement of seeking mental help so that would-be mass shooters don't dive too deep into that violent mentality and act on their twisted desires. It's something I agree with, though I'm still not entirely sure how to make that happen.

Putting that aside, however, the topic I'd like to discuss

Trying to remember the name of a stand-up comedian. He has a British accent, and the only bit I've heard from him is about people freaking out over childhood obesity but reminding people that children used to get the plague. I remember the line in response to a hypothetical person asking how their boy is doing "Oh.. his grades are good.... He's got the plague". At some point also saying "Little Plague Boy". Prior to that he was talking about how to avoid overweight children if they're trying to attack you (for some reason) and saying "stay near their toes - they can't touch you".

Hopefully that's enough to go on. I tried googling but came up empty

Got a prescription for a month's worth of Prozac yesterday. Going to wait until Sunday evening to take the first pill since I'll have a friend who's available and I don't want to be alone when I do it. Am feeling quite nervous over the fact that it might increase suicidal thoughts considering I live alone in an apartment. I also have a friend who lives nearby for subsequent days, and I will notify him about me taking the pills and to be on the ready in case I feel unusual. I feel a bit strange overall about taking a pill for depression - a bit along the lines of "has it really come to this?" But I feel that it's worth a shot as I've been depressed with occasional suicidal thoughts for a few

Didn't have time for it at release, then other things repeatedly got in the way. Finally saw the complete edition on a good sale so I went for it.

I've completed nearly all of the Souls games, but this is the first one that consistently keeps me frustrated in terms of.. where the hell are the save points?? The only Lamp I've found is the second one in Central Yharnam. I've opened up the gate next to the lamp for a shortcut, and another gate near the big troll guy banging on the door, but I keep exploring and fail to find another one. Makes me feel like the Souls games spoiled me with somewhat generous save point placements, while this game just keeps giving me the middle finger.

I'm enjoyi
