I’ve done a lot of fishing on the Pacific from boats for Salmon, Halibut, rock fish etc. but I have none of my own gear. These are all guided tours. What would you recommend I pick up from the local shop in Edinburgh if I want to do some shore fishing? I’ll be fishing off the beach in Borreraig. I’d like relatively good quality gear that I’ll use for years.

I have way too many jerseys that fit me like a condom, and have one that is snug, but still fits a bit loose. Unfortunately the tag is long gone…

Do any of the similar sized people have any recommendations for me? I’ve got a larger frame, with a bit of a gut, sitting around 95kgs, 5’11”.

The problem I’ve found with buying XXL for a standard European fit is that the jersey just fits terrible, its arms are too long, the pockets are either getting in the way of the seat or getting caught on it, etc.

I guess it’s a vanity thing, if I’m honest. I know there jerseys exist. I just don’t know where to find them.

Hello, visiting soon and staying at my father in laws flat. We want to buy a small charcoal grill for the patio, but I can’t find any store local that sells them… can any locals give me some advice?

I’ve been using Rouvy for a few months because I was bored of video game Zwift graphics, and love it.

Yesterday it wouldn’t log me in on Apple TV. I was able to log in on my phone and my desktop, but not the Apple TV. After many times retyping the password I just said F it poured myself a whiskey.

Any ideas? Anyone else see this issue?

I used a Fenix 5 for a couple years as I started cycling seriously at the start of the pandemic. I got Garmin power pedals pretty quickly as well, and my VO2 settled around 45-47.

In November I received a Fenix 7s, and it took a week or so for it to give me a VO2 score of 31. In the time since it’s gone up to 33 and plateaued there. I never run, yet my running VO2 Max is also 33.

Is the Fenix 7s so much more accurate than the 5, and I’m just truly in the bottom 15% for my age and sex (46 male)? Or does this seem to be some sort of glitch?

Hello everyone, this is our first chilly season here. We live in a stone row house type apartment on the first floor, and it has large windows. They all fog up constantly. There isn’t a fan in the bathroom, so just looking for tips? It doesn’t only happen after someone showers either, cooking will do it as well. As does just sleeping in the bedroom for the bedroom windows….Any advice would be appreciated!
