Is anyone else having an issue with this product?

My dog will only eat it if it is mixed with better food she loves and tries her best to pick around it even if she has not eaten for a while. If I put it in her dish with nothing else she will just stare at me and leave it until it is needing to be thrown out.

Hey, I'm looking for info on costing for digital monitoring of utility scale wind turbines. SAAS, enterprise software, "Industry 4.0", electronic boards. I'd like to know what's popular and how much it costs without going through all the hassle of a sales process. Are you experienced and can help out with that? I can throw you a gift card for assisting.

Hey, do any of ya'll monitor turbine farms? What software/hardware do you use to monitor them?

No speculation, please.

I manage a product that is configured over a TCP/IP port via a web page. Traditionally this type of configuration requires the user to mess with their network settings so they can get on the same subnet as the device IP address and access it. Then they need to know/remember its IP address to configure it. This is too much difficulty for our user base's skill level and results in a lot of tech support overhead.

The connection is a straight cable from the user PC to the device, with no other networking taking place. I'd like to modify the settings to redirect the user to the configuration page no matter what they type into the address bar of their browser. I've seen this in the wild at h

Right now we have an MQTT broker at Level 0/1 which is bridged to another broker at Levels 2/3 (due to network bandwidth limitations between layers 1 and 2 this is necessary for us to efficiently subscribe to data at both ends).

Today I was thinking, what about the DMZ? Should we bridge across that to a broker at Levels 4/5 as well? Would any applications benefit from direct subscription without history in your business? I can't think of any reason to do it right now except that it might be useful to propagate financial data from Levels 4-5 to Level 1 for process optimization in the future.

I'm thinking of buying an old beat-up z and rebuilding the engine for a high horsepower twin-turbo setup. Because I'm planning to rebuild and replace so much to accommodate extra power, I'd like to modify the transmission or at least replace the old gears, but I can't find any gear sets for sale. Has anyone done a manual transmission rebuild before, or am I limited to swapping the transmission if it goes out?

Has anyone traveled to Europe with older folks, and have advice on how best to make a trip enjoyable and easy on them?

My American mother is in her mid-sixties and her husband is a homebody who hates planes and travel in general, so I'm bringing her to Europe for a couple of weeks in November in order to allow her to see it for the first time. It'll be just the two of us and maybe one of my brothers for some of the trip, I'm a healthy young man and I've been to Europe a few times totaling maybe a couple of months. She isn't disabled but due to being overweight as well as normal elderly aches and pains she can't reliably walk for more than a couple of miles a day, which I anticipate to be

My garage is about 20x20x8 feet with a hip roof. There are five 2x10" rafters spanning the garage. I just finished ripping out all of the sagging, falling-down drywall ceiling and also the walls so I can insulate and re-do it properly before the hot, muggy Houston summer is in full swing.

I don't know what properly is though.. I'm concerned about 3' and 4' spans between joists in the ceiling. know I should use purlins to mount the drywall to, but I don't know if the 3' spans will droop with 1x3" purlins.

I've considered running extra 2x10 beams to fill the gaps, but I would need to use two pieces and join them in the center somehow. There's no way to mount a one-piece joist without cutt

Status: RESOLVED

Computer Type: Desktop (self-built)

CPU: Ryzen 7 1800x

Motherboard: Asus Crossfire VI Hero X370

RAM: Corsair DDR4 16Gb (2x8Gb) 3200 MHz (not overclocked)

Chipset Drivers: CROSSHAIR VI HERO BIOS 1002

Description of Problem: Can I run RAID 5 using Windows 10 64 bit? The motherboard chipset advertises only RAID 0, 1 and 10, but in the Windows 10 RAID setup process (I followed these instructions) it appears that RAID 5 is an option.

Is RAID 5 handled by software in this case, or is it handled by the motherboard and actually unavailable to me, even though Windows 10 appears to make it seem like it is? I

I'm in Houston, house built in late 70's with galvanized piping (I think, mostly - there's some PVC here and there where renovations occurred).

Recently a dry seal on my shower water valves caused me to shut down my mains so I could replace the cartridges. I drained the lines from an outside faucet, did the repair, and then when I turned the mains back on the blast of water into the house lines seems to have caused a bunch of crud to get knocked loose. Every valve in the house was spewing some brown water for a few seconds. This then caused some of my toilet fill valves to leak (from accumulated solids) and a few other valve cartridges to get plugged up, as well as my filter screens on m

I'm in Houston, and we occasionally get some real downpours with several inches of rain. Two major floods in the last couple of years. My garage has a ~10 degree downward slope on the door side, so water doesn't come in there. Two sides are against soil up to the foundation where leaves accumulate and one side has a concrete patio about level with the garage foundation. Every side except for the door side shows evidence of water seepage against the 2x4 framing along the bottom. The drywall has water damage from 1/2" to 2" there, probably from capillary effect as the floor has never actually flooded from rain.

I'm trying to evaluate my options for fixing this. I have no eaves, the shin

I know there are a lot of products like windup radios and rare earth shake powered flashlights available commercially. Does anyone know of Kinetic energy sources that can be bought off the shelf to be integrated into a project, or does that kind of thing need to be designed from the ground up?
