I just came across the September 17 CPSC and Health Canada recall for certain Finnleo infrared and hybrid saunas, along with custom infrared kits. It covers some IS Series and S Series models, Sentinel and Sentinel Hybrid units, plus custom or semi-custom systems using Saunalogic or Infralogic panels.
This doesn’t affect every Finnleo sauna. Traditional units with no infrared function aren’t included. The issue is that the infrared panels can short-circuit and overheat.
Sauna360 is telling owners to stop using affected units and arrange a free in-home repair. Its FAQ says the repair will involve new circuit boards and a fuse for each panel, but there’s still no estimated timeline for parts

I just saw the stop-use notice and planned voluntary recall covering Radiant Health Elite and Pause saunas shipped before August 1, 2026. It mentions a possible short circuit and potential fire risk, but the fix is still awaiting approval.
Did anyone here receive the email or get more information directly from Radiant Health or Sauna360? I’m curious how owners are feeling about it, especially since people are being told not to use their saunas until an on-site repair can be completed.
Most infrared saunas look convincing on a product page. Nice photography, impressive temperature claims, perfect reviews.
Then the sauna arrives and reality sets in. Weak heat at your feet, cheap hardware, gaps in the cabin, annoying controls, or customer support that suddenly disappears.
Which brands have you used that disappointed you once the novelty wore off? Name names, but please explain what went wrong. A bad shipping experience is different from a sauna that simply doesn't perform.
Skin benefits get mentioned constantly in infrared sauna marketing, but I’m curious what people have actually noticed... not what the brochure promised.
Has regular use meaningfully improved your acne, dryness, redness, texture, or anything else? And did the change last, or was it mostly that temporary post-sauna glow?
I enjoy sauna for plenty of other reasons, but I’m still undecided on whether the skincare angle is legitimate, heavily exaggerated, or different for everyone.
I have used my red light panel for my calves (or is it calfs?) and it has worked wonders. I also suffer from back pain but never tried it. Last night I decided to give it a shot, positioning the red light panel was a bit of a pain but managed it.
After a 30 minute session, the pain was gone. I know I have major issues, but at least it got rid of the "surface" pain and my back wasn't sore at all afterwards, giving me a good night of sleep.
This sh*t continues to amaze me, it's like magic.
I’m curious because a lot of traditional sauna people seem to dismiss infrared immediately, but I’m not sure it’s really an either/or thing.
Traditional sauna has the heat, the ritual, the steam, and that intense full-room experience. Infrared feels different — usually lower air temperature, more direct body heat, and sometimes easier to use more often at home.
For someone who already enjoys traditional sauna, would infrared feel like a downgrade, a useful complement, or just a totally different tool?
Especially interested in hearing from people who use both.
I keep seeing people ask whether a garage is a smart place for an infrared sauna.
On paper, it makes sense: extra space, easier delivery, no need to give up a bedroom, basement, or office. It also feels like a good “wellness corner” if the garage is already used for workouts, tools, or storage.
But garages can also be rough environments.
Cold winters, summer heat, humidity, dust, fumes, spiders, uneven floors, and general garage chaos all seem like things that could affect the sauna experience — or the sauna itself — over time.
So I’m curious:
Would you put an infrared sauna in a garage?
And for people who already have one there:
Did it work out well, or do you regret it?
What did yo
Hi all. I’m looking for an indoor full-spectrum infrared sauna and I’ve been researching for months now. I’ve narrowed it down to Sunlighten, Clearlight, and SaunaCloud.
Since this is a pretty big investment, I want to make sure I’m choosing the right one. At the same time, I’m trying not to assume the most expensive option is automatically the best. I’ve noticed there’s a huge price spread between brands, and it’s not always obvious what you’re actually paying extra for.
For anyone who has tried or seriously compared any of these three, what stood out to you?
I’m especially curious about things like heat quality, comfort, EMF levels, build quality, customer service, warranty, and whether
